I also want to know this as I used my amex credits x2 today (last day) on some oil at full price.
If there's no sale I always buy gift cards (when AMEX promo is on) and wait for sales to come along.
Wish I did this. Tried now but can't use Amex for e-Gift cards and cannot click and collect normal gift cards.

Off rrp I rekon.was eyeing on Prorack exp7 roof pod,rrp $499,but it was on sale at $349 untill yesterday,when the boxing day sale promotion started,the price went up to normal @$499.

I'm not sure if you could help me in my case (you did not allow PM) - I put through an online order yesterday (24/12) and today there's this 25% discount. Is there anything SCA can do? A store credit would be appreciated or I am happy with choosing an item with the value of the price difference.
@MATTDAMON: The problem is I used a SCA giftcard as a partial payment, so reversing everything could be PITA, especially with the recent ebay gift card fiasco. I'll email SCA to see what they say.

Bought a K&N Air Filter for my son's car. Best price I could find anywhere by a good margin. Not the cheapest Air Filter to buy but K&N filters are great to begin with and instead of replacing them you just clean and reuse them when time for service. Essentially lifetime air filter for the car!
Terrible filters, better off using a paper filter for superior filtration.
foam filters provide the best filtration/air flow, followed by cotton (k&n etc), then paper

You are correct sir.
There are so many independent tests on the internet and magazines that prove that k and n filters do flow more air, BUT at levels of suction that far exceed any normal engine!!! It has to be a 1500hp drag car to benefit. The pathetic increase in flow at normal engine speeds, possibly 5g/s more, comes at a negative as the weave of the cotton allows tiny particles to get through. Also the oil used to trap particles, makes its way onto your maf over time and decreases performances and damages it. Yet K&n keep selling the rubbish to people that don't know any better. Nothing beats paper for maximum filtration of particles and you won't feel any difference in power.

Even if they were prices aren't great, friend got an 18v drill and impact driver combo with a bag and 2 batteries from Bunnings a few weeks ago for 199 and nothing on that site that I could see comes close
The reciprocating saw is cheap if they discount it. It would be $112 even the ozito one is $100.
Fair enough, I got a saw in my ozito kit a few years back but it's more of a jig saw, hard to cut anything neatly especially if it's not in a vice or attached to something. I am sure it has its uses, but in my case it was 100 bucks for a drill, impact driver, a saw and a light in a bag so I wasn't complaining

Depending on what sort of vehicle, I would look at the toolpro jacks; better quality than the SCA stuff and not terribly priced.
