Amazon says it has a mineral crystal which is why I posted it, but I just found it on Timex Website and it says that it's acrylic, so I probably wouldn't have bothered posting it.

Never trust Amazon specs, they are shocking.

    • What would happen if you complained to Amazon after purchasing what you originally though was a mineral face according to their description?

      • +1

Well that's the irony, they would happily take it back and probably pay for return postage, haha.
Amazon are very good with returns.

I reported this Casio F108 about 2 months ago as being 50m waterproof not 100m & they sent me an email saying thank you but never changed it.

        • Yes, if in doubt see the original electronics manufacturer's website and specifications.

These models should have acrylic faces.

As a comparison you can buy Casio Tough Solar Analog/Digitals for around $50.00 Shipped on eBay
These also have an acrylic crystal but no seconds hand. Try code CAU10 for 10% Off.

  • The solar digital watches don't work in space

    • +1

Sorry I forgot to mention that.

You'll need extra-solar digital for that interstellar trip you've been planning. ;)

        • -1

Well, it depends on the space we're talking about now, doesn't it?

  • Just for anyone interested, for slightly higher price (US$24.35 ~ AU$34) there is also a Grey colour:
