    The RRP is a device to make the actual price seem more attractive. This happens automatically and you cannot stop your sense of value from being manipulated by it.

  Not in the market for a new lappy, but seems very reasonable with the faster rpm HDD and 3 yr warranty. As mentioned the RRP seems to be some arbitrary figure, but looking at the pics with the hinges seemingly made from metal. Build quality and all that, might be more to it than meets the eye.
