Eneloop 8xAA & 4AAA + Basic Charger $39.99, Rotisserie Chickens $3.98 @Costco (Requires Membership)

360

Just saw that these looked to be a decent price for Eneloops.

Also the rotisserie chicken is a bargain, they are normally $5.98 each (Thanks blandest).

This was at the Canberra store, not sure if nation wide.

          You guys are charged up.

          So this is what happens when the chicken flew the coop.

      Chicken 'n Charger. Maybe a 1.25l coke to wash it all down with.

  • Do they have any Eneloops without the charger?

    • Yes

      bought some today from Kilburn SA store;

      AAx8 = $24.99
      AAAx8 = $19.97

      A lot cheaper than when I looked on fleabay.

    Eneloops are cheaper than Bing Lee's deal.

    Saw the chickens @3.98 yesterday at Costco Docklands too… not sure how long that is for, great price though.

    • Sign @ Moorabbin said: 29th and 30th December only. Well, they are still $3.98 today, so probably the last day of special.

      Mind you, when I was there around lunch time, there was queue of people but no chickens ;)

    Pretty sure the chickens are normally 5.98? Picked up one though at 3.98 yesterday….. SO GOOD!

    • Yep, I think you're right. My memory has failed me.

  • I was at Costco Auburn on the 30th and they were still $5.98 :(

  • Is the charger in the pack a smart charger or normal charger?

    • +1

      It's just a normal charger. I took a look last week when I was there.

    • +1

      It's labeled as a 'Basic charger'.

  • Basic Charger Made in China !

    Never been in a Costco, how big are their chooks?

    Because when Coles and Woolies slashed their BBQ chook prices they shrunk in size substantially.

    • Did you put the Colesworth chooks thru your new hen tester? Seem to be the same size in Canberra. Costco carcasses are much larger than CW, cheaper, and tastier to boot.
