I got portions of this message when I went through paypal from the same representative. If you go through paypal, I believe you will do better.

  • Ok, I have now sent one last email to marketing and one last message to gamiss support. They have until the end of the today before I request a credit card chargeback.

  • +1

I tried through Gamiss. Got the same b.s. responses everyone else has.

So, I contacted them via paypal. They tried to tell me:

"The shipping company is actually responsible for this loss which is sadly beyond our control."

"Most of Flat rate shipping deliveries are usually slower. It take up to more one month even 2 months in rare cases"

before finally offering me a full refund. I have said that I will accept this but I will wait until it goes through paypal before I close the dispute. This will be the first, last and only time I use gamiss.

  • +1

Received my full refund today, I feel for the seller tho because while alot of buyers on here wouldn't of opt in for the insurance the company is giving some users a full refund , who knows where the original shipment went !? I know alot of users here ordered some got it others didn't! (Like me)

    Good luck everyone!

  • +1

Apparently now I'll be getting a full refund.

    • +1

      Paypal or support?
I am stil waiting for paypals response 😑

      • +2

        Through support.

So now my neg gets revoked? Lol, what a weird place this is.

  • +2

based on the number of no-shows, how is there only 2 -ve's?

    • +1

      Weird isn't it?

My neg was revoked due to "community standards" /rolleyes. Despite the post in question being nothing to do with the company and this transaction. What a stupid way to operate. I and many others have had quite a bad experience, and yet the neg vote gets revoked. Stupid.

    • Once you +ve vote and then reneg it, you can't change your vote to -ve? It that right? And if so, where is the logic in that? The 7 reneg "votes", assuming they were likely +ve renegs, might help make the number of -ve votes more accurate.

      • Yup, turns out we cannot change our votes to -ve after voting for it.

Well, I put order in on 3/1. Still they asked me to wait ( probably wait until they close the business and no more PAYPAL claimss possible). Just raised a claim with PAYPAL to see how it goes.

So yesterday was the day they asked me to wait , and it had not arrived. So I asked I want a refund and this is their response, but I haven't received any notification of a refund.

We apologize with this delay and sincerely regret to hear that you have not received your order. After reviewing your order in detail, we have found that you haven't purchased any insurance during the check-out. Please understand that in such case we can only compensate you partially. The shipping company is actually responsible for this loss which is sadly beyond our control. Please review in detail our shipping and insurance policy in our terms and conditions here: http://www.gamiss.com/m-article-id-36.htm However, as you are a valuable customer, we are willing to help you the best way we possibly can. We can issue a refund in full to you. We kindly ask you to repay us when you finally receive the package .

    • +2

i got the same reply, just keep escalate to paypal.

      • Ok thanks for the advice.

        Have you gotten your refund?

        • still being review on process by paypal

    • +2

They are liars & thieves & will do whatever they can to avoid refunding your money. Escalate to PayPal or chargeback ur CC, pending on your payment method.

    • I just joined ozb to also confirm that they lost my package and aren't offering a refund

  • +1

Ga-miss is a miss for me. Not received my item still after two months. Just opened paypal dispute. I am going to "miss" any further dealings with gamiss…

    • +2

Same here. Ordered on 04/01. Paypal dispute lodged this morning.

  • Still waiting on my refund.

  • Like lots of others mine hasn't arrived. Offered me 50% refund they can stick that, just lodged Paypal dispute

  • Same here nothing received. Offered partial refund of $8.90 USD…

    • +1

2 different responses: offered a partial refund through Gamiss website and a full refund through claim via paypal. Took the paypal offer

Been over 2 months waiting on my refund as well.

  • Still waiting on my refund.

  • +2

After I used Gamiss my credit card was hacked. I wasn't the only one this happened to with either. Use Gamiss at you peril. Got my band in a month though.

  • +1

Geez wizz… I thought I was the only one with my bands not arriving. Similarly, waited 2 months and they have not arrived. Lodged Paypal disputes. Never again with Gamiss.

  • +1

Two of my bands are "In Aus" on Jan 13 and have had no activity since- generic responses on both accounts by Gamiss saying to wait etc. Escalated both, plus today was the 2 month mark of dispatch so fingers crossed i get something back.

This is absolutely ridiculous to have been done on this big of a scale.

  • Still waiting on my refund.

  • Still waiting for my band, two months later. I might start the Paypal refund process shortly!

    • +3

better escalate ASAP, dont bother to wait anymore. they have the same reply to many of us and at the last straw they claimed it might be lost and blame us not included insurance and they are not offering full refund, so it is better to escalate through paypal

      • +1

        Done!

  • +1

    Ordered 6 January
    Supposedly shipped 8 January
Raised dispute on Paypal 19 February
    Escalated on Paypal 23 February
Resolved in my favour 5 March

  • Still waiting on my refund.

    • +1

      same..

    • +1

      Same.

When did u escalate to PayPal?

      • I used straight credit card so have threatened chargeback. Now been almost a week and no refund.

        • So ur refund isn't being processed by PayPal? But thru ur CC company?

        • @cloudy: Yep, it will be if I don't see my refund today.

  • +1

After contacting Gamiss through paypal I go the response others have got saying 'We can issue a refund in full to you. We kindly ask you to repay us when you finally receive the package'.

I have accepted their offer of a refund. I will give them 24 hours to execute it before escalating to PayPal.

    • Said exactly the same thing do me, I waited 24 hours and then nothing so I escalated.

    • +2

Don't let the claim case expire, I think they said to me hoping it would lapse my case since if I waited any longer than one day it closes.

      • Good advice. I'm still well within the timeframe so will wait the 24 hours to show I'm being reasonable.

    • +1

"We kindly ask you to repay us when you finally receive the package" … pahahah, Gamiss continue to give me stomach pains from excessive laughter.

How about you, Gamiss, kindly stop using every pathetic excuse possible for the delays; stop accusing our neighbours & AusPost of being thieves; stop giving fake tracking details; stop trying to cheat customers out of their rightful refunds; stop trying delay tactics so customers run out of time to chargeback with the CC; and stop blaming customers for not using insured post.

After seeing how quick Gamiss are over at the "trustpilot" review site to try and have every negative review banned claiming they are a non-verified buyers … I hope you all get a full refund & your MiBands & then never buy from these jokers again!!!

  • "We kindly ask you to repay us when you finally receive the package" - Yeah sure gamiss, I'll pay for it in the length of time it took my item to arrive. Which it never did.

    • +2

Never arrived for me either even after my money is refunded.

  • +1

got my full refund today via paypal, without needing to escalate to paypal

    • +1

Same. Refund processed less than 24 hours since I accepted the offer of refund. No escalation to PayPal.

  • +1

WTF, over 2 months waiting, never received a thing!!!

    • +1

Just got notification from paypal of full refund today. Don't wait just put your claim through

  • +1

Oh dear - looks like we all got scammed, and got the same customer service email.
    Paypal claim time I think…

    • +2

      Mine arrived fine. Great band.

  • +1

I finally had my refund request approved last night from PayPal, they never received anymore responses from gamiss so it was found in my favour. Ironically I ordered another band from a seller on aliexpress on the 27th of feb and it arrived yesterday, couple of dollars more (I think about 36 including another band and screen protectors) but at least it arrived! Great little product. Good luck to everyone else waiting.

  • +1

I got all 3 refunds from paypal, didn't take too long for the refunds to be approved, around 3 days.

    • Are you just kidding? 3 days? I've opened the case on 20/2 and escalated to claim on 27/2 and now is being reviewed by Paypal.
Did you contacted Paypal directly by phone?

      • Call them or email them direct - 2 weeks for a review is too long. I emailed them and got a refund quickly after.

      • +1

It is quite unfair, some got their bands, some get their refunds processed quickly. Luck of the draw really.

      • Yup I opened my dispute 18/02 and escalated early this month but Gamiss taking ages to respond…
Seems to be going back and forth between 'Awaiting other party's response' and 'Being reviewed by paypal'

      • At last get the full refund.

  • Still waiting on my refund.

  • +1

    just started paypal proceedings.

first these guys not delivering, then ozsale not sending out the correct xbox controller.

    what next?

  • +1

I got two full refunds, one from my CC charge back and a FULL refund from Gamiss.

I hope the bank get the money from Gamiss so they lose twice!

    • How long from initiation of chargeback to full refund did it take? Which bank are you with?

How long did refund from gamiss take?

      • +1

ANZ were fast, like 2 days.

Gamiss after I kind of told them to pull their finger out was about 5 business days.

        • Thanks. Been 10 business days for me with gamiss so far, so I have now lodged a chargeback dispute with credit card provider. I have given them plenty of time. I'm with ANZ also, that's an amazing turn around time, wow.

          Scam company.

  • +1

Opened the dispute and got refunded by PayPal .. Gamiss u were a big thug

    • If you are not happy, please neg them, it's the only way people can find out about this mob on future deals. Thanks.

  • Still waiting on my refund. Let's see how they go with a credit card charge back.

  • Still waiting on my refund.

  • +1

Gotten refund from them to cc. Took 9 days.

  • Still waiting on my refund.

Mass non-delivery of the Xiaomi Mi Band2 for orders made in early January

Many other customers ordering this item early January have also reported [on a web forum] that they have not received their order from GAMISS. I have read tracking dates and times there that exactly match mine. But there are also dates and times differing by a few days for other aggrieved customers.
The GAMISS offer to me of less than half refund (US$8) is totally unacceptable. I require a full refund thank you.

Way too many words for a simple 'item never arrived, refund requested' email :)

I find when dealing with issues with Chinese sellers, short and to the point requests work more often than not.

    • +2

Full refund received 3 days later in my PayPal.

I did not need to escalate my PalPay claim. Prompt response. Polite reply from [email protected]

  • Still waiting on my refund.

  • Still waiting on my refund.

  • +2

Finally got refund… thanks gamiss for wasting our time

    • Neg them.

  • +1

    Still waiting on my refund.

  • Still waiting on my refund. We are now at 15 working days, their time frame for refund is apparently 7-14 working days. This is now been disputed with my provider anyway.

  • +2

    1/1/17 Purchased Deal
8/2/17 First complaint to Gamiss through customer support due to item not received - told to wait 60 days.
8/3/17 Second complaint to Gamiss through customer support due to item still not received - same generic email as others had received stating no insurance purchase and only partial refund offered.
    8/3/17 Esculated to PayPal Dispute
9/3/17 Gamiss offered full refund - I accepted
10/3/17 Full refund received into PayPal account.

Will never buy from Gamiss again!

  • Still waiting on my refund. We are now at 16 working days, their time frame for refund is apparently 7-14 working days.

They sent me a screenshot of some sort of return payment to my account. I'm sure this is just another lie and no return payment was ever made.

  • +1

Still waiting on my refund. We are now at 17 working days, their time frame for refund is apparently 7-14 working days.

  • Still waiting on my refund. We are now at 18 working days, their time frame for refund is apparently 7-14 working days.

  • Still waiting on my refund. We are now at 19 working days, their time frame for refund is apparently 7-14 working days.

    Lying, thieving, pricks.

    • +1

how did you pay for it? If via paypal go through them, otherwise do a CC chargeback.

      • I already did a CC chargeback around 4 weeks ago now.

  • +1

finally got my refund after escalating through PayPal after they basically told me to wait for another month even after waiting until the end of the 35 business days.

just hoping the more recently posted deal comes through

  • Still waiting on my refund. We are now at 20 working days, their time frame for refund is apparently 7-14 working days.

  • Ouch. So after not receiving the item (it's been over 2 months), this is Gamiss' response via the PayPal dispute:

After reviewing your order in detail, we have found that you haven't purchased any insurance during the check-out. Please understand that in such case we can only compensate you partially.

Time to get PayPal to fix this.
