  • Anyone who get this phone will have such a love hate relationship.

    Will love the hardware spec but oh man the software…the software mate.

    • can you just disable the bloatware and then install nova launcher?

      • +2

        Not just bloat…that would be relatively simple but the EUI OS itself is mess…if youre unlucky some even have malware pre installed…i believe it was the US versions….for rest of the problems check various forums like xda.

        Also sources have only recently released so the users tried to escape to custom roms have to live with half baked roms with issues and terrible batt life.

        Absolutely shame as the HW is top notch stuff minus the small battery powering huge 2k screen

          It's android, couldn't you just root it and flash it to a stock/clean ROM?

        • +2

          @SuBw00FeR:

          yes in theory if LETV release the source code which they rumoured have only did in last weeks, the existing clean roms so far by the community have various problems that prevents them from being good daily drivers. Youre stuck with stock EUI if you want any sense of reliability. which is terrible.

          @Balls:

          Ahhh the pleasures of dealing with Chinese phones

        • @Balls:
          What a tragedy, looking at the price and hardware.

          You wonder why ALL of these utter numbnuts don't just minimise their actual effort and just put out a stock Android OS, which is what their users really want. Instead they invest a lot of time and money making rubbish no-one really wants. Other than google, that is. Sony's Android flavour is very light. Now google with their abandonment of the nexus and the overprices pixel phones are putting themselves in the situation where you have to pay a premium to get an unfXXXed operating system. What is wrong with these idiots?

    • OP, should listen to valuable feedback and ask your supplier to meet customer demands. I was about to buy until I heard this. Maybe also only offer B28 phones, then you will sell more stock faster than other online stores

    • Goddamn it i was so nearly sold on this phone seemed so perfect then the shortcomings

      Balls can you recommend a good phone with

      4gb Ram
      32gb minimum internal storage
      Micro sd card slot optional
      6 inch minimum
      2k screen
      Battery size doesnt matter can be small as i will be keeping it heavily charged or constantly plugged in anyways at all times
      Snapdragon 810 or 820/821 preferred as i will be using it for heavy multi tasking and intensive gaming

      Preferably under $400-450 aud delivered lower is better of course and surfing similar to this deal would be ideal

      My main grope would be the resolution and size of the screen as i will be using it a lot for YouTube and movies

      The tablet space is fast becoming outdated and slow

      My last tablet was an nvidia shield..i was considering a samsung galaxh tab s2 but compared to current phones too slow

      • A "Xiaomi Mi Max" will hit most of what you're looking for.

  • 21 MP Rear + Front Camera

    Front camera is 21MP too?

  • +1

    Is that company far away from bankruptcy?

  • If you don't care about the big screen and 128gb ROM. Should go with the Le Max 2 for about the same price for a 4/32gb. It comes with a SD820 and 5.7" is perfect IMO. EUI 5.8.19s is not so bad. I have been using it for the past 2 months and very happy with it.

  • Both this and the X800 Le 1 Pro have highly regarded headphone audio quality. Unfortunately later models got rid of the custom audio chips and did away with the headphone jack.

  • Is there a deal for 6gb/64gb version?
