How much are the batteries ( 18650) ?

His long is a piece of string… You can go cheap or expensive.

Don't skimp on 18650 batteries, buy protected NCR (Panasonic) batteries or similar quality.

    chinese lumens yeah?

I've got this torch. It's pretty good.

This is an awesome flashlight for awesome price. Got one at home (was $35) and love it! Comes in 3 different tints - 1A (Cool white), 3D (Neutral), 5A (Warm). I got the 5A - I like the colour. Not Chinese lumans but legit lumens - though at max brightness it only can maintain it for a short period (maybe 30-60 secs) before dropping down a level.

This is more for enthusiasts though. If you're just looking for something basic, get a AA flashlight instead (like the SK68). As you'll need a special charger and 18650 batteries which are like $8-10 a pop.

  • Just in time. Pulled out 9x18650 batteries out of an old Laptop Batteries. All charged, except one that seem to be dead.

  • I have this one - it is a good torch. Very bright at the highest level, so I am quite happy using the lower power which is brighter that all my other torches. You can switch a memory function so it goes back to the setting you last had.

The only downside it there is no zoom function, which is good on the cheaper torches I have. This means the beam is very wide when you are aiming 25 metres away. If it had a zoom function it would have incredible range.

  • Bah, I've already purchased 3 premium flashlights in the past two months. Not sure why I'm so eager to buy this.

  • Cheapest Ever?, no body knows!

Somebody does know. It's isn't the cheapest ever, but it's pretty close.
    Excellent torch for the money.

    • The next closest I saw in a quick ozbargain search was $19.95 USD?

      • I'm not sure what the deal was, but just checked the invoice and I bought 4 in October for $103.88 Australian ($25.97 each)

Comparing in USD has the problem of changes in the value of our dollar.

  • Typical, just got this one and paid $34.

Same, Buying another one just for the sake of it to make myself feel better.

  • May i ask how many minutes if it's on turbo, high, medium and low?
For example, can i use it for an hour on 1600lm?

  • Has anyone order shipped/received yet? Mine still on backorder…

  • Has anyone received their item,I ordered on the 3rd of jan still have not got the torch yet.
