I heard for Kayano 23 u need to buy half size larger than Kayano 22, is that true?
Or 23 has same size as 22?

  • Can anyone report on the quality of the shoes that COTD provide? I heard reports of the Kogan ones being inferior builds in terms of glue used and stitching and was wondering if COTD is the same…

      • Ah crap :-/

Thanks - good to know. How do we know for sure that places like Pauls Warehouse don't do the same and get the inferior ones?

So is the view that they ARE Asics, but possibly to a lower specification than would go to Australian retail?

I'm wearing a pair of Kayano Gel 21's now, purchased from COTD a couple of years ago and have had similar performance and life than the 22's I purchased from a major retailer lat year. Hope this helps.

I've had a pair of Kayano 21's from COTD for 1.5 years now and its still going strong. Not a single fault from it all this time: it's been through countless training runs, 2 x 42km marathons, a mountain peak hike, a jungle hike in South America, and other hikes.

Grip has faded badly now but im surprised its lasted this long given the amount of k's i've done on it.

      Hope that helps.
