ALDI Vegetable Garden Bed Reduced - ALDI Darlinghurst (NSW) $12.99 Was $29.99

180

FYI

Aldi Darlinghurst are selling their Vegetable Garden Bed left over stock from September 2016
http://www.catalogueaus.com/aldi-catalogue-07092016-13092016…

Original price was $29.99, now just $12.99

There was 28 of them in a pile today. I bought one a few months ago for $16.99 reduced. I guess not much of a market for garden beds in the city.

More than enough for this lady;

    They always have lots of garden stuffs got left behide. I think it is just lack of space for people who love to do gandening or they dont have garden at all.

  • Anyone done the maths on total costs watering soil setup costs etc versus buying your own vegetables? Wondering if it is a worthwhike investment of time to start growing my own than buying from aldi coles or woolies etc

      Its not money, its flavour, taste, you know where it came from and what its been exposed to.

      All fruit now is picked before its even close to ripe as it ships well, it can store for months and months until needed at a warehouse, then ripened with gas so its ready for purchase. Looks awesome, often lacks taste and a ton of nutrients.

      Home grown, pick when ripe, and the fruit/veg gets all the nutrients the plant wants to give it including those that only develop when ripening.

      Price, meh good luck competing with mass farming.

      • Hmm ahh ok that makes alot more sense. So how much does say a small plant pot garden take to grow and what are my initial costs like?

        • small plant pot

          If you provide plenty of sunlight, water and love, you will be getting baked with your love ones soon enough
