Most of that negative feedback is based on shipping times etc. not the quality of units.
I have bought a few items previously and couldn't be happier with the items, although shipping company (DHL) is awful.
Look further. Lots of people with faulty products, getting no luck from any support.
thanks for the heads up. was seriously looking at buying these but the seconds/manufacturer refurbished bit threw me.
I've bought a refurbished headphone before that worked great.
It wasn't from Sony, but refurb does not automatically mean bad quality.
I have ordered one of the last ones left. 2 red ones left, no blacks left.
I got a refurbished action camera. No issues with me.
I bought a 65" refurb TV from their ebay, the screen was chipped. Bought same model for $200 more from Hardly Normals next week and returned the one from Sony.
Although did not have to pay for return however money was blocked. The return was mostly painless but I would not touch the refurbs again.
Shipping was shit with TOLL.
