A variety of Smiths / Doritos chips 150 / 175g bags for $1 (close to date).I think the Cadbury Snowman are also on end of season clearance nationwide for cheap, can't remember the price but they taste good and worth it if you've never tried.

Yeah, for some reason I clearly remember what I pay for stuff, especially when it's cheap! If I bought the Snowman (my wife did), then I'd remember the price for sure.
Just picked up a bunch from North Lakes Qld. All dated from at least May 2017.
These bags get smaller by the week. The last pack of Mars Share Pack I got a few weeks back, I promised myself that it would be the last time I bought it. It's got to be half the size it was a few years ago!
Is it worth going to Liverpool for these chocolates considering the risk of getting stabbed, stepping on a syringe, etc?
Nothing at Big W Mirrabooka (WA) - a few of the small net bags of chocolate Santas for 20c, but I bought most of those :). At Big W Whitfords (WA) this morning, they had lots of 200g bags of "Sorini Milk Chocolate Santas" - made in Italy, chocolate tastes quite nice. These were towards the back end of one of the aisles just before you reach the confectionery section, shelf price was showing (and product scanned) at $1, but up in the back corner of the store (near the sporting equipment), was one of those two-tier display baskets in the middle of the aisle with the same product, all marked at 50c. These were originally $4/pack, so not a bad bargain!
