      I think so but I know the X300 can because that's what I use. I don't find it loud enough with the aircon on full blast (2005 Falcon).

      Edit: As mentioned below the X50 doesn't have a mic so can't act as a hands free…or even if it can audio would be going through your phone speaker which would mean don't be surprised if others complain they can't hear you.

        So does the x300 have a Mic? Or does it just go through the phone's Mic? I asked this last time and there wasn't a definitive answer

          X300 has a mic. You can see the little hole near the buttons.

        well who the heck uses a microphone on a portable speaker. also the x50 is slightly clearer and noticeably louder which i would trade for a mic any day

    Is this weather proof at all?
    Looks like an ideal speaker to strap to my bicycle.
    3W RMS should be pretty loud enough.

        You won't hear any surrounding sound if you put headphones (ex.car horn, or the car closing to you) be safe
        I using x100 traveling with my bike and use it as handfree

      I would suggest you look at the UE Boom. It fits in a bike drink holder and is splash proof. Bit more expensive tho..

      X100 Was$23 at eb games as well as ow and gg but the way better deal is the x300 at gg and ow for $45

        Not if you are looking purely at a percentage saving…19/49.95 beats 45/99.95.

        But if you are saying the X300 is a better product than the x50, that is a different story.

      I have the X100 & it lasts about 4.5 hours.
