  • how do you Refurbish these?

    • Hi Tuzil

All refurbished units have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, fully checked and tested so that they are in perfect working order and repacked in non retail packing. The silicone eartips included are all brand new ;)

Majority of the units have barely seen any use and are almost brand new.

      Hope my answer helps

  • no returns - no deal

    • -1

Non returnable always applies to earphones.

      • +4

So how did they get these?

        • They are returns. Just checked.

        • @JH100:

          They are returns.

Yep. Returns that needed to be "thoroughly cleaned and sanitized."

  • Have all items been disinfected and cleaned :/

    • All refurbished units have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.

  • Almost brand new is like almost free, it makes your add looks shady.

    • By that we mean most are in new condition with little to no cosmetic wear or tear.

      • So some of them are new?

        • Sorry, near new condition. Would edit the above post but there is no edit function for comments.

  • Save $11 and get used earwax? No thanks.

    • 3 for $25 vs 1 for $36

    • +2

I know everyone probably is thinking about refurbished earphones and earwax from someone else being there, but keep in mind most earwax (if ever was there) would be on the silicone tips. All the old tips have been thrown away, the units have been fully clean and sanitized and come with brand new ear tips.

  • How can you say in the same paragraph that they have a 30 day warranty and then at the end say no returns ?

    • +3

Warranty would be if the product stopped working it would be replaced.

Returns would be if you want to send everything back for a refund.

      • oh ok i see thanks for clarifying that

Your "no returns" policy stands in opposition to Australian Consumer Law regardless of the fact that your business is located in another country, particularly given that you are explicitly advertising to Australian customers on an Australian website.

Obviously I'm aware that it is often impractical to obtain a remedy under the law when shopping internationally, so you can probably get away with it, but it's hardly conducive to generating a good faith relationship with your potential customers.

      Hi Cainn

Thanks for the information, as we are not a Aus based retailer we were note aware of what you mention, looking into it what we offer is still complying, but we will replace is there is a problem and if anyone here has dealt with us, will know if there are major problems we will work with them to resolve the issue. We will remove the last line in the note but advise people to read fully the description on our site.

      https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/consumer-rights-guarantees…

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, i will inform our relevant returns staff also.

      Cheers

      • A business is always obligated to provide a refund should the customer request it if the product has a major problem, where "major" is defined as (among other things) "a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they’d known about it".

So if, for example, someone received a pair of headphones that didn't work at all, or weren't in the condition that you suggested they would be in, or had some other sort of flaw that degraded the listening experience, they would be entitled to a refund.

Again, I realize these laws are difficult to enforce internationally, but they do exist.

Again, I realize these laws are difficult to enforce internationally, but they do exist.

if you buy from a company not residing in Australia with no business presence here, Australian laws don't apply…Not sure why you think they would

        • if you buy from a company not residing in Australia with no business presence here, Australian laws done apply

That's what Valve tried to argue in their case against the ACCC, but it didn't fly because their business model obviously still involves a direct relationship with Australian customers.

Choice disagrees as well, and you can read about their legal assessment based on Australian Consumer Law here: https://www.choice.com.au/electronics-and-technology/interne…

Again, the problem is not that there is no legal recourse, it just that in most cases it might be impractical to pursue.

  • Awesome. My Beta IEM Earphones [2013 Edition] are still going strong from a deal in April 2014. The weakpoint for them was the mic/remote connections. Have these been strengthened since then?

    • Hang on to them, they're classics now.

  • +5

wow, will go well with my refurbished toothbrush and refurbished underwear

    • +1

      Braggart! I remember underwear …

  • only one set of silicone tips,

So no comply soft tips, what size is the Silicon tips? Don't they come in a few sizes?

    • By one set we mean one pair each of small, medium and large tips.

      Sorry no comply tips included.

  • i got a bunch of silicone tip spares anyway - tend to lose them… this was pretty good deal if they have been all checked and I tend to destroy headphones on a regular basis…

  • What is the cleaning process? Please provide evidence that these have been cleaned and the processes you use.

  • Doesn't come with the soft case? I would have jumped on it if it does.

  • i got mine in the mail - they did come with plenty of silicon buds anyway - and all clean as well

  • I think this deal is closed - page not found
