I mean this is as good as 300 dollars back, also can get Qantas Altitude Points.

  $100 annual fee, therefore net benefit is $200, and it's only for the first year, not ongoing.

  I think you could do a lot better than this e.g. the current ANZ offer - 60k points, free return flight every year, 2 x lounge passes per year.
