kmart price beat, for what, installation?

Unlike Orificeworks, they don't bitch about honouring it either…

          Is kmart install good?

Tyresales pricebeat and deliver tires to a tyre installer of my choice.

Install, balance and wheel alignment for $110.

          Vs $99 without alignment.

And… allianze roadside assist. May come in handy.

        • @chinezejew: I've used them 4x now, never an issue…I just do up the Tyresales quote & give Kmart a call…they always beat it by at least 5-10%.

Now, that said, I haven't ever tried it with a 10% Tyresales code on top, so I'm not sure how they'll handle that…but they've been fair dinkum about every other genuine price I've fronted them with, so I can't imagine they'll struggle too much.

FWIW, either service is still good, it's just whoever gives you the best deal for your dollar on the day.

        • @StewBalls:

Ive been told to always get an alignment with tyre changes.

Me being me… ill try find a tyreplace willing to get me nxt set installed and aligned for around $100.

        • @chinezejew: That's not a bad policy, and cheap enough to do; however, I'm quietly confident if that was part of your quote with TS, Kmart would include that too…they are a legit mechanical/tyre service.

the tyres i priced with them a few weeks ago are now 10% more expensive!

  • I'm after 4 of this tyre. BRIDGESTONE DUELER H/T 687 225/65R17 101H

It works out $162.00 each at Tyresales.com.au and $135.00 each at Temple Tyres. How this can be a bargain?

  • meh….. checked my vehicles…. tyresales is more than 10% more than what Jax advertises the same tyres for

and that is before asking for a discount

  • The carsales code stacks with existing offers, but the one doesn't 🤕

    • It'll depend on the sale applied - the tyres I was looking at were cheaper with the UBER discount compared to CARSALES. Worth checking both though!

  • Code doesn't seem to work for me. I note the page says "use your personal promotion code at checkout"…

    • There's no personal promo code - UBER is the code.

      • Thanks. Not working for me unfortunately hmmm

        • Urgh, that's frustrating! Are you getting a particular error by any chance?

        • @MiCCAS: big time! nah the page refreshes after entering the code but the price doesn't change and no message given.
I'll give it a try tomorrow from my work computer. Laptop and mobile having the same outcome at the moment.

        • @rankmanugly: Uurrggggh, sorry man. Let us know how you go tomorrow!

  • Is the price that they show including installation? If not, how much will installation be?? Sorry, I am kind of new with online tyre purchasing….

  • Not working for me either.. :( Same as @rankmanugly, screen refreshes but nothing.
