OK i think this is a really good deal from Harvey Normans. It was in the paper today (Sat). You get two Sony Ipod Docks for $129. Ends this weekend.

If you buy Sony Dock ICF-C1IPMK2BC on sale for $127 (Usually $189) then you get Sony Dock ICF-CD3IP (Usually $189) for Free!! I bought the 2nd Dock a couple of months ago on ebay for $120 alone! I could of got two docks for roughly the same price :/

    well, i always think that all these expensive ipod iphone ipad accessaries are for apple super fans.

    i cannt get the meaning of using those docks at home when you have home theater, computer, cd player, mp3 players and clocks.

    there are a lot of things i dont understand anyway but this is definitely one of them.

    again it is all for super fans~~~

      LOL actually, my partner uses hers as a clock radio / alarm and iphone charger all in one.
      What else can do all these tasks? I"m definitely not putting a home theatre system and computer on her bedside table haha

      Definitely not just for super fans.. moreso for people who dont' have a clock radio or want a device that does a few jobs.

        What really sucks about docks, and makes them very useless for me is the fact you have to take off the cover whenever you plug it in whether it be silicone, leather, crystal etc (unless if its a nano). I don't understand why they haven't found a solution to that yet. meh.

          Not the second one! There is enough room for you to have a cover, and if you don't you can put in this plastic bit so there is more support for phones that don't have covers :)

    got the same package from DSE the other day for $174
    the main dock got a really good sound quality. friend had a Bose iphone dock speaker and gotta says the sound isnt much different at all~

    the sound form the free clock CD dock is just okay, but only it for bedside anyway

      If I were you i would get my arse back to DSE and get a refund as they have a 4 week no questions asked money back guarantee provided you still have the reciept, its worth a try but they should atleast refund you the $50 difference.

    Sony have been running this promo for a while. I wonder if its to get rid of old/excess stock and new model is around the corner.

    Only problem with iPod docks is when a new iPod/iPhone comes out not guaranteed to work with your old dock cos of firmware issues :S

      Firmware is not an issue older generation ipods have a different adapter for docking

    I had a listen to this at SONY Central, and it sounds good. The sound from the "freebie" dock is very average, but as an alarm clock, will do.

    I just put a deposit on one and advised it may take up to 2 weeks for both of them to come in..
    And it is confirmed on the receipt that it's for the price of two docs

    I bought this combo last Saturday from Harvey Norman in Belmont WA for $189.95 then saw it advertised Thursday for $127. I went back to the store Thursday evening with receipt and ad and they refunded me the difference. Yay!

    I just went into my local harvery norman in country nth est vic. They had plenty of stock but the salesman wouldn't honor the deal as he said it was only valid in metro stores :( He even went onto the harvey norman web site to check while I was there but it wasn't listed ..Doubledamn !!

    Now in the catalogue they are selling for $147. But everywhere I went they said it is out of stock. Does any other company would price match this package?!
