Sydney to Manila with Cebu Pacific from $358 Return

210

Monsoon season Aus day special. Travel period June 1 to August 31

Unlike last time (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/284042) you can't book the return leg separately to save quite a bit of money.

I can't pay more than $143 return but this is good enough for these days. To think I used Manila to get TO Beijing before…

Not much of a special. Its been $199 AUD the last 3 promos of theirs… personally waiting for the $150 option which may or may not appear later this year…

    • Yeah I agree - especially since this is for the worst time of year. I don't want them to become complacent. It could be useful for those visiting family though.

Interestingly, the Philippines and the eastern seaboard in particular (which actually doesn't have a real dry season due to umm science) has been so wet this month it's been getting landslides and everything.

      • Have a quick search seems the last 150 promo popped up last aug/sep…hmmmmmm

  • I would like to fly to Manila in late August, does anyone know what the chances are of cheaper flights than this popping up? Can get $357.59 for the dates I'd want to fly.

      Hey there,

This is just my opinion, but I'd get it now if I were in your position. $200 SYD-MNL and $160 MNL-SYD is a fair price to pay for international flights.

I know this is OzBargain and every cent counts around here, but if you can afford to buy it now, you get the security of knowing that it's taken care of. Not to mention that if there are no other sales down the track for the dates you are looking at, then you are going to be paying more than today's price.

Look at it this way, even if there happens to be a better sale down the track, you will still know that you got the tickets at a fair price, just not a "super duper cheap price", it's not like you are over-paying for them at the above price.

Peace of mind has a dollar value too.

      Cheers beers.

the thought of up to 436 passengers on an A330 scares me. Just 8 toilets. You're literally talking 6 minutes per pax toilet time for the journey. hopefully it's mostly a male pax loading or better bring a rubber band or dehydrate before the flight.
