  • No love for my deal hahaha

    26c each. Meh.

    • Yeah, need to be around the 20c to get a look in these days.

The Aldi Platinum tablets get good ratings and can be had at the same price all the time. These days I rarely keep an eye out for the Powerball deals.

My dishwasher is Bosch middle range (series 6) and I honestly do not understand why people are using Powerball for dishwashing. This is for both classic and whatever better ones with gels they are marketing.

Every time I used one I feel that one tablet is way too excessive for a wash with full load. Rinse aid used as well.

So these days I am only using dishwashing powder which I can control the amount the putting into the dispenser. The results are way better.

    • Mine is a low/mid range Dishlex (Electrolux) and the powerball tabs work fine even on a quick 30min wash. I don't use rinse aid. There are no stains on glasses etc and everything comes out clean. Last time I used powder my experience was totally opposite to yours.

    • Can't agree. Parents and I both have Bosch dishwashers and the Powerball tablets work fine.

Not saying they are necessarily the best, but haven't had any issues with them that would make me want to go back to powder, ugh.

  • 8.4c per tab for quantum if you were lucky enough to score 2 sets… Now that's one to tell the grandkids about. Link: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/212837

Quoting a deal from over 18 months ago. Seriously?

      • A man can dream

      • Taking inflation into account..It's even cheaper..Lol. either way, thanks for the post op.

  • What am I missing, how do you get the $5 off?

100 ALDI Logix dishwashing tablets for $14.99 ($0.15 each)
http://offers.kd2.org/en/au/aldi/pbhlk/ (ALDI doesn't have them on their website as they are a 'special buy' from 28 Jan 2017)

They rank quite well on Choice website:
    https://www.choice.com.au/home-and-living/kitchen/dishwasher…
They score 70% (Logix Platinum) vs these Powerball Quantum rated 68%

    • These are $9.99 at my local

They don't have the dissolvable wrapper though, so they are not exactly the same as the normal stock

      • You're right about the lack of dissolvable wrapper. That's unfortunate.

My ALDI (regional NSW) charged me $14.99 earlier today

        • Pricing error.
It scanned at $14.99 but I argued that the sticker on the crate had $9.99. Seems like they had tagged it with the price for the regular 40 pack by accident.

I had posted whilst still in the store before checking out.

  • how do you get the 5 bucks off?
