There's no TomTom available for Android yet, so I think this is one of the few offline GPS software packages out there.
Please Note: I would check the Android Market price first, as today Australia was 28.05 pounds, which seemed to be cheaper than 15% off the online store price of 39.99 pounds = 33.99 pounds.
i don't like sygic. very buggy for my htc desire. copilot is great!
Did you try Sygic version 10 though? v9 was buggy as hell, but is wasn't supposed to support Android v2.x
Sygic V10 is rock solid, has been all year since Jan on my N1.
Where are maps for Australia???
I purchased CoPilot 8 through Android Market and it definitely has it there. Don't know about other devices.
Go to the "Map Upgrades" link (top left) section of the site and you should find some stuff there.
Tom Tom = meh. The only reason its popular on iphone is because its bundleled with a GPS booster to overcome the iPhones rubbish GPS receiver.
Meanwhile, as tomtom were happily riding the iGravyTrain, several other competitors have upped their game to overtake tomtom software wise. I use sygic myself, and I've heard copilot is really good too. Also NDrive.
