Wasn't sure if I should post this, but hey maybe someone out there would think it's a good deal. (I'm in no way affiliated with Centrecom - was just checking out a Philips monitor when I noticed the price on the watch)

Looks like they're removed the black version from their website

  Good price considering what it once was, although would wait till tomorrow when the Android Wear 2.0 announcement is made along with any new watches.

  In saying that I'm fairly sure this watch will receive the new update.

    It will, they released the details last year and from memory it was only a few watches like the original 360 that won't receive the update to Android Wear 2.0.

  I've owned this watch for 15 months and love it. That said I paid more than double that price. Confirmed will receive the AW2 update, and has been a test unit since June.

  OP, if you wanted the new curved Philips 40", it's $995 at Compuworld. Cheapest I can find

    Have you purchased any alternate bands/straps for it? If so, where? I'm looking at wearing it with a brown leather strap. Thanks!

      I use a standard steel. Black huawei leather was too sweaty for me. It's an 18mm spring, but theirs is 21 or 22mm wide. As in strap is wider after spring to cover lugs. Amazon sells lots of you can get them to ship
