Only the over-ear version worth to buy.

    • Depends on your use case.
The Over Ear rub your neck when you wear them around your neck between sessions.

These on ears are comfortable for up to 10 hours of continuous use (i have sensitive ears, and a HUGE head, no dramas at all) and when you put them around your neck, they DONT rub your neck or chin.

  • I have both the QC35s and the Momentum wireless 2.0 over ear.

I can honestly say that if you are NOT listening to FLAC audio files or some sort of lossless audio then i would say go with the QC35's they are usually cheaper and more comfortable. They are also ALOT easier to pair and can have 2 Bluetooth sources eg phone + laptop.

    • Do you know if these would benefit much from a DAC?

      • Unless you're listening on some VERY old analogue hardware with a Tube Amplifier, you'll find they're already getting a DAC.
The question is, how good is your current devices DAC?

On My blackberry10 (passport) phone, no an aftermarket DAC would do bloody nothing, since BB focused on Audio Quality.

If however, you were using a new iphone with a 'thunderbolt adaptor', then YES, you'll benefit.

        • What about audio coming from a 5 year old motherboard?

        • @congngo: Not sure.
read the DAC chip number off your board and google its statistics.
Only you can decide if it's good enough for your ears, everyone hears differently.
