Just wanted to share that I placed an order recently for close to 500 standard 4x6 prints through the snapfish website and got them picked up at my local kmart. The quality of the prints were so bad ie. visible print lines, pictures not sharp, etc (original files were shot on DSLR) and I ended up requesting a refund for them as they're not good enough to be put on picture frames.

YMMV though as I'm not sure if the local Kmart shops are the ones printing these or whether they came from somewhere else.

I just picked mine up today after a month and they are absolutely abysmal . My last order was from a couple of years ago and they were fine . I use a DLSR and process them with photoshop after calibrating with a spider . The prints are visibly blurry (great for grandmas wrinkles) and the colours are terrible . They all look they have been taken with a 2mp point and shoot from 10 years ago . I wouldn't bother for free , not even to give them away as it will only make you look bad .

sounds exactly like what I got. I'd recommend contacting their cust. service for a refund as like you mentioned, I wouldn't even be happy to use them too had they've been for free.

  • It's a real shame that the quality of most prints from these types of online stores is terrible. Does anyone know of a place that does really good quality ones?

  • FYI SUMMERSALE gave us 60% off…so worth a try
