Fares indicated are one-way per passenger, for a minimum of two passengers travelling out of Gold Coast, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.

These are fares when you travel with 2 people, not 2 people for the price of 1.

    • "Scoot Airlines 2 for 1 Valentines Special (Sydney-Singapore for 2 PAX from $99 EACH O/W, Ho Chi Minh $130, Male $250, Athens $299)"

and checked in luggage is ridiculously expensive ~$125

    Male $250

I bet female ticket prices are less. It's blatant discrimination I tell thee.

    • One way or 2 way?

  • I just got an email from AirAsia to say they've cancelled my Ozbargain flights to Mauritius :(
… maybe I can find something here?

    • Why did they cancel it?

      • No idea, I presume they cancelled the route, email says:

        Dear Guest,

We regret to inform you that AirAsia X will be suspending flights from Mauritius to Kuala Lumpur effective 26th March 2017.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused, and would like to offer you the following service recovery options…

        • What options were you offered out of curiosity?

        • We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused, and would like to offer you the following service recovery options:
          1. Refund: Obtain a full refund of the amount equivalent to your booking ; OR
          2. Credit Account: Retain the value of your fare in a credit account for your future travel with AirAsia. The online Credit Account to be redeemed within 180 calendar days from the date of issue ; OR
          3. Move flight: Change to an earlier travel date (before suspension) on the same route without additional cost and subject to seat availability

Once you have selected one of the above, kindly contact:
Call Centre - lists of localised assistance (excluding Malaysia and Singapore)
Live Chat (Login to AskAirAsia.com with your member ID)

          ……….

The call center is not open at night, and the live chat is so busy it will only connect after 40 times and then there is a 2 hour wait to talk to someone.

        • After waiting 2 hours for live chat, was simply sent to this webpage:
          https://eform.airasia.com/
told to fill it in, select 'Complaint' (because the system auto-ignores refund requests) and then 'Refund'.

After waiting 2 hours, when I suggested that the email said the live chat would process my refund, and it was an "amazingly horrible pathetic bad stupid idiotic experience", the consultant was 'offended' and terminated the session…

      • Looks like it may have been forced to cancel due to Air Mauritius lobbying the govt

  • Are they still controlled by Singapore Airlines?

    • Yes
Tiger airways is about to merge with scoot also

  • Thanks for sharing the deal OP. Been looking for a good one way flight to Greece

    • Need to get away from some charges?

      • I'm travelling to a few places around Europe with Greece being the first stop

        • That's great! Have fun in Europe.

          Don't forget your europass.

  • SYD-SIN is $129, not $99. Refer the link.
    Have requested mods update title.

    • Perth to Singapore is $99, hence the price range.
      Refer the link.

yes, but I am referring to the title of this post, "Sydney-Singapore for 2 PAX from $99 Each" which is misleading, and hence the request to have it changed.
At $129 it is still a great price though.

        • I didn't make that title, an admin must have edited it and changed it. The original title was different.

  • AHh bugger, requires 2.

  • I put 2 passenger, still showing price for 2 person

    • Sale period starts tomorrow

      • Or 9pm Perth time tonight.

The only time it pays to be behind :)

Here are the specials from Singapore(and return flights)

    http://www.flyscoot.com/en/sg-valentines-day

    Prices may be cheap to book individually(eg Singapore-Perth is $99SGD = ~$91AUD)

As always, flights from/to Perth and Melbourne can be price beat with Jetstar.

Ergh, when did Scoot change their flight times? Arriving at 3:20am in Singapore from Sydney? Damn.

    • Good for early morning connecting flights ;)

      • I didn't mind the overnight flights back home. Lobbed into the airport, changed and then went to work. 320am is just rude if you're not grabbing a connecting flight :(

    • When did this happen?? Not a fan, getting in at 7pm was great.

  • ineligible #foreveralone

    • just take up two seats. budget airlines get pretty cramped anyway

  • Keeps showing me price for 2 people! Has anyone had success. At what point does it deduct the cost of one passenger?

  • Price is good although beware of quality…. I have used scoot first time in my life - never going to use it again. It is the worst budget airline that I used… service doesn't exist…. Even Tiger airline is heaps better. Although if you are on really tight budget and tough as rock - sure, price is good.

    • +2

I think you would be hard pressed to find service on any budget airline. The only interaction I had with Scoot was when they told me off for eating my packed lunch on board the flight.

For me my only gripe was Scoot's seat being uncomfortable (pretty hard; almost similar to sitting on a steel bench).

      • Yep, seats are really bad there, very uncomfortable and no much space between rows… Other budget airlines like Tiger and Jetstar have much better service… I felt like traveling in a country bus in third world country…. Unfortunately I did not have a choice - the only tickets were available via scoot or airasia ( which even worse according to reviews)…

        • You get what you pay for, I reckon.

As t25 said, you don't fly Scoot or any budget carrier for that matter if you're expecting service. I am surprised you say Tiger is better though. To me they're all the same (i.e. crap - but gets you from A to B for the cheapest price possible!)
