Bought this cardigan for Dad. Pretty nice and good price.

    Price Hipster link

    • People still wear cardies?

    • definitely looks like a dads cardi.

  • Solid deal. Picked up one shirt and a polo

This is a good deal with the free polo. However if you're after multiple shirts, better off going with the ongoing 3 shirts for $99 delivered offer.

  • +1

Got the 3 for $99. I am a size 41 collar with 84 sleeves. Their shirts are all driven by collar size so even though I chose Extra Slim, all the shirts are way too baggy and long. Being around 172cm and 72kg. I wouldn't recommend these shirts for someone with a thick neck. Or order a few sizes down in collar size to get a better fit, but you cant wear it with a tie then.

I was disappointed with no virtual fitting room as well. That way I could have had some idea on what the fit might have been like before ordering.

From their 'How to measure yourself' videos they make it so that once you have your collar and sleeve size then you are sweet, but it is actually far from it.

That said the material of the shirts are pretty good, and the feel of the fabric is nice. That is if you can get the right length and width for your body figured out.

    • I am kinda in the same situation. I need 41 collar but 90 sleeves. Its really hard to find that in slim fit. So far I have found Van Heusen and Tommy Hilfiger do it. I don't like the quality/material of Van Heusen but Tommy is quite expensive in Australia.

      • Yeah Tommy sells their brand name. Too bad that CT dont offer the tailoring they claim to have on offer for these shirts.

    • I just bought a bunch to try lol. Will see how it goes. Their return procress seems painless.

This is true. I have swapped sizing no questions asked. They even pay for the shipping

      Size 41 collar whoa!

I thought I had it bad with a size 39 collar.

I suggest googling "Collar Extenders" on eBay. They extend the collar up to 1 inch.

For shirts you can try TM Lewin's super fitted range and buy a size 39/40 + a collar extender. Otherwise uniqlo dress shirts are fairly generous with the collar sizes (Size M in slim fit should fit), but their fabric is thinner.

  • Are the only $39 ones the extra slim fits and slim fits? No luck after the KFC nugget deals for me then!

Seems you found a way to save on clothing! 😂

  • Has anyone bought ties from CT at all? Wondering if anyone has feedback on their quality since they've regularly got 2 for $xx deals

    • I've purchased a couple - quality is very good

Great deal mate..Usually the polos are $39 as well..

Just ordered a shirt and got my free polo for $39 bucks. Great deal. Thanks for the link.

Been reading alot about the sizing so thought i would finally test Charles Tyrwhitt shirts.

  • waiting for TM lewin offers… I don't want to buy CT anymore… everyone at works shops from CT. don't wanna end up wearing same shirs lol

  • Link to 39.95 plus Polo doesn't seem to work. Could come under the "We reserve the right to withdraw, amend or extend this offer at any time, without prior notice".

    • Just did a test. Still works. You have to add an item to cart to the value of $39.95, and then there will be a grey banner which allows you to choose a Polo from the offered designs.

The Polo will show up as "Free" in the cart.

  • Has anyone received their CT shirts yet?

For some reason CT only sent a despatched email but there is no tracking code. Is there anyone else in a similar situation?

    • +1

I received mine yesterday. Bought on the day of this post. Yep there was no tracking. Odd but considering they send from the UK the service is adequate.

      • +1

Thanks for posting this deal OP. Parcel from CT was received a few days ago.

  • Is this offer still on? Doesn't seem to work when I get to the checkout…

    • +2

Yes, it does. Make sure you clear your browser (or use private browsing) and begin with the link on this post.

      • +2

I just tried both of your suggestions and even tried using different browsers, no luck getting the free polo to show up. I made sure to pick a business shirt priced over $39.95.

Edit: so just after I posted this I accidentally clicked on the link and the free polo showed up. I had a $39.95 shirt + polo already in the shopping cart from earlier testing.

Edit2: upon further testing found that you just need to be signed in to your Oz Bargain account for the link to work…

    Thanks sky blu & itsjacky,
thought I missed out, just ordered, working fine…

  • Never ordered from CT before, do they accept change of mind returns? Their "6 month quality guarantee" is very vague and just says they accept returns if the item is "not up to scratch".

    • +2

I've returned shirts before, they've never actually asked why it was being returned, just slap on the label and send it back. I've done it when I bought the wrong size, no hassle at all.

Reading around online, people mention they've done it months after buying. Personally I lose my return slips too quickly to care

      • Thanks for the info :)

  • hi i have tried ordering but the free polo doesnt come in the cart per one of the post

  • Can't get it to work and it's the last day :( tried with a new browser/private/loggin into ozb and it didn't work.

    • me neither and I tried private browser etc :( thought I would sneak in a purchase but looks like it's expired - sad times :(((
