Was looking for a new watch. This one came up the winner. 20 days+ battery and water resistant (50m). And looks great!

For this price an absolute steel! (see what I did there….)

For me the best tracker out there at the moment. I don't need apps on my watch. Has stellar reviews.

  • Good price, and good activity tracker & watch. Dunno about the accuracy, but these things are good to motivate you to be more active. I would hesitate to call it a smart watch as it doesn't have those apps etc to enable you to do things like view & respond to text messages, check the weather, etc. But definitely a nice choice if you don't need those extras. FWIW - if you add something small to the order to bring it over 15,000 yen then you can get some bonus Rakuten points at Tenso (http://media.tenso.com/campaign/rakuten170213/en/ - offer ends tomorrow)

    • Dunno about the accuracy

They hopeless eg. why don't you wash your hair and see how far you walked in the shower.

I would hesitate to call anyone who used it smart particularly if they're using it to motivate themselves (see previous shower comment).

      • True, but I reckon it's ok as long as they are reliably inaccurate. What do I mean by that? Well, if it always shows I've walked 20% more (or always 20% less) than I have actually walked then I can live with that. I'd just need to make sure that (if my target was 10k steps) to walk 20% more or less. I work on the idea I need to walk at least x number of steps each day, rather than exactly x steps.

Anyhow, I stopped using my pebble to measure activity as it was all over the place - sometimes way more, sometimes way less. FWIW I've been using a Garmin for a few years now (vivofit and now a vivosmart HR) and it's actually scary how accurate it is. As cool as this watch might be, I still prefer my garmin as I get the smart watch functions I want such as mobile alerts, weather, music control, etc.

  • I wish the Steel HR is on sale too, which has a heart rate sensor.

  • +2

No heart rate, new model replaces it with Heart rate and oled screen. https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B01N7I1BGV/ref=twister_B01N3352J…
