Samsung 46" 3DTV 200Hz LCD $2488 @ Joyce Mayne (LA46C750R2F)

10

Joyce Mayne have in their latest catalogue:

46" 116cm 3D LCD Full HD Samsung. The model in the corner says LA46C750R2F. Advertised it actually says LED LCD, but after a google search it appears that this is an LCD only. But still has most of the pro's of the slimmer LED brother except for Skype support and a horrible 8cm depth (and obviously Contrast/Brightness), but if you are putting this is a cabinet and not concerned about slimness, then this should be a nice 3D IPTV.

Lol. Makes me feel small when while perusing for beer and candy bargains I encounter a $2500 3-D TV bargain.
    Someday!

I'm sure you wanted $2500 of beer and candy anyway.

  • The model number should actually be UA46C7000 if this was the 46" 3D 7 Series.

    • UA46C7000 is the LED LCD
      LA46C750 is the LCD

$2488 isn't really that special anyway for this TV.

  • I'm really curious, are these TV's much different in design/components compared to standard LED or LCD TVs (Excluding the glasses)? Just asking because considering its a very recent technology, it is quite cheap. New technologies are generally extremely overpriced.

  • Why anyone would buy a 3D TV is beyond me. It won't be long before they start making 3D TVs that don't require you to wear the stupid glasses. Then you'll be the outdated one. Just look at the 3DS

  • i bought the UA46C7000 (3D 46" LED TV) for $2788 at good guys 3 weeks ago (got price match from Joyce Mayne), ticket price was $2799. so theres plenty of room to haggle. $300 is not a big difference

    receipt and info here:
    http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1501339

Dynamic contrast ratio of the LA46C750: 300,00:1
Dynamic Contrast Ratio of the UA46C7000 - 7,000,000:1

    • Dynamic contrast ratios are always a joke. Don't buy a TV just based on that.
Go into a store, use your own eyes and tell yourself whether it is worth the extra $$$ (of course, take into account the other features as well).
