TLDR
TO GET THIS PRICE:
- Use the Samsung Shop app to get 5% off
- Log into the EDU store (you must be eligible)
- Add the phone and Buds3 to your cart
- Add a trade in item eg galaxy watch 4

Edit: I got an email from Samsung today with the subject "The new Galaxy S25 Edge: Slimmest yet" which contained a unique (?) voucher code for an additional $200 trade in bonus (so $400 trade in bonus in total). It works in the edu store bringing the total for the 256gb version to $1015.74. the code starts with PSL and ends with RBMB:

Can anyone confirm if this code is unique or not?

I don't quite understand why, but when I add Galaxy Buds 3 and the BEYONDSLIM code to the order along with the targeted code the total comes down to $996.17. Screenshots here.

You may be able to do the cancel items trick after you place your order to get the cost of your (free) accessories back. I haven't tried it.

Note that you need an eligible trade in device to get the $200 trade in bonus. I'd recommend going with the least value device you have eg a Samsung Watch 4 ($10 trade in value) as the trade in process can be questionable at times.

You need to use the Samsung Shop App to get 5% off. I've bought lots of stuff from there but the 5% discount still applies.

You need a .edu.au email address to register for the Samsung EDU store.(samsung.com) No, I don't believe there is any easy way to get a .edu.au email address if you don't have one. Most school/uni students would have one, though. I assume the same prices are available in the other portals. The price in the title is with a $10 trade in device eg Galaxy Watch 4.

        Nah, S25U is already heavy enough as it is. I wouldn't like to be heavier. What they need is to start using sillicon carbon battery though. Hopefully that's for S26 lineup

    I'm trying to imagine who they think the target audience is for this phone. Given the price, it's better to spend a bit more for the Ultra and you'll get bigger battery, better camera, S pen etc

    Or you pay less and get either the S25 or S25+.

    I feel like most people would rather a thicker phone with a longer lasting battery?

      My guess is to preempt the rumoured iPhone 17 Air hitting the market in a few months (make Apple products feel outdated when it is released).

      I agree, the Oneplus 13T 6260mah battery with a 6.3" size I think was the better approach. If they can tuck a Si/C Li-Ion battery with ~5,500mah in the S25 it'd be an absolute winner.

      Battery life should be similar to the S25+ in theory.

      Yeah I feel you. I love the phone, but its kinda cumbersome not going to lie. Almost want something smaller and lighter for my next phone.

      I think this edge model has too many shortcomings sadly. Seems cool but the battery life is going to be awful. And it doesn't have anywhere near enough fast charging to offset it. 25W simply aint going to cut it.

    I ordered through multistore partners. Used the $20($100 credit) extra trade in voucher and every other thing I thought I could , ended up with $298 for 512g s25 edge with an s24 ultra traded in. Looked earlier in the year and trade in deals were lousy when the S25 came out.
    Also found out service NSW has a link for anyone with a seniors card to get the partners discount store, about 20% off ( https://www.nsw.gov.au/community-services/seniors-card/deals… ).

          If you're using Westpac EPP, the only option is to pay with Westpac card. If you're on Edu, just try again. Their website was quite buggy, saw that a lot when using the Samsung Pay offer last time (on public store). Eventually it went through after few tries for me when it happened

        Love the case, thanks for the suggestion. It's missing magsafe. Unfortunate to hear about Pitaka, hopefully they change their mind. There's a few on Aliexpress. I've ordered a generic magsafe clear case from Amazon. That will do until a better case is available.

    Couldn't select the 256gb any more, as samsung edu give free storage upgrade to 512gb at $1849 before the trade in price. So total with the trade in code and bud3 come to $1618.40 with trade in watch 4.

      I can still select 256gb model in the EDU store. The EDU store isn't doing the free memory upgrade. My guess is that you're in the main store, not the EDU store.

          Yeah, double storage is only public store (which is much worse deal than this one). They always do it on public one at preorder. Edu/EPO never offer the double storage (but cheaper price & other bonus)

      Looks like it's about $100 more now. Cheapest price I can get is $1,091.17 and that's with Buds3 added, the BEYONDSLIM code, the unique xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-RBMB code and a $10 trade in device.

      Without the unique code it's $1,281.17.
