What the email said:

However:
The code still applied the further 5% discount in conjunction with the 40% off so not sure about the "cannot be used with any other offer,…. or discount"

    word of warning. Octolite = not that light.

    2.5kgs for a cabin bag when most airlines have 7Kg limits = 4.5Kgs for your actual stuff.

      A very fair point made, however for those at a similar price point:

      Antler Prism Hi-Shine - 2.1kg ($164.35)
      Antler Prism Embossed - 2.2kg ($160.55)

      American Tourister Airforce 1 - 2.6kg ($164.35)

      So unless you want to go up in price and get say the Samsonite Firelite ($327.75/1.9kg) or Lite-Shock ($327.75/1.7kg), then at that price range you're looking between 2.1kg & 3.5kg for a hardside cabin bag.

        The Samsonite 72 hours series is great for a light-weight cabin bag(1.5kg). It is over three times the price.

        Flylite Quartz has a 15yr warranty vs 10yrs for Smasonite. And weighs in at 2.4kg. Only $98.

        Antler Lightning same 10yr warranty and 2.5kg as Samsonite, but only $129.

        Also get the set of three for $457

    I bought the cabin one for $178 from victoria station and it was not on sale.

    I think this is quite a normal price for that bag. Nothing special.
