    Why would someone get this when you can buy the QNAP 451+ from Futo online for $543.00 incl shipping after the 20% ebay discount?

      They have different features and this TS-451A supports 4K HDMI instead of 1080p, 4GB Flash instead of 512MB Flash, also with USB QuickAccess port (Direct connect to your external HDD). But you may want the TS-451+ as it has a quad-core processor…

        Thanks for the info. I was looking at 451+ mainly for its quad core processor for running Kodi. Can you do a deal on that please? Cheers!

          To be honest, you would be better off buying a separate Raspberry Pi to run the Kodi front end. I have a 451+ and I use it purely as a NAS/Downloading machine.

    Can you clarify the "bundled with" part….

    Because the NAS + 4x Seagate Ironwolf 8TB at a TOTAL of $1648.00 seems… unlikely?

    Also worth mentioning, it's only 4K @ 30hz… and no mention of x265 decoding either…

    VERY BAD; they add handling fees; correct price should be 599 + 2% handling fees. because of handling fees I didn't proceed
