Yes, they did. I went to OW shortly after this deal was originally posted, and it scanned at $19. Per the OP (and what you corroborate), the price went up but they did originally match it on the same day.
Got one and am actually quite surprised in a good way.
I picked one up from good guys last deal, you will not be disappointed. I haven't run mine flat before, but I've had it on for 4-5 hours before without issue.

Another question - does this thing turn off by itself? If so can this feature be disabled? I'm thinking of using this as a speaker that will be permanently attached to an older monitor for streaming

Doesn't mention AUXJust purchased. Seems like it's in perpetual blue tooth pairing mode! I just wish there was an option to turn the bluetooth off :(

It does auto shut off if there is no AUX signal.Saw this at HN couple weeks ago when they had their weekend sales. Was priced at $39, won't price match with OW. So $19 is a hella bargain! :D
I'm doing this - it works well.
You can play a frequency below 20hz, or above 20khz in loop on the PC it's on, and it wont play anything audible, but it also won't power off.
I've not tried it with this specific speaker, but I have tried it with other brands.
Can this be paired with other speakers to make it stereo?

anyone have issues using AUX with this speaker?
I've had one for a while now, paid the same price. Fantastic audio quality in this form factor and price range. Competitors from Sony, JBL and SOL Republic sound incredibly tinny in comparison.
That being said, this is definitely not the speaker for a Trap or Hip-Hop fan. Like with all speakers this size, sub bass reproduction is little to none.
I tried it out in the car a few minites ago after purchasing with "My Ambitions As A Rider" and it wasn't too bad, very crisp reproduction of sound but he bass is certainly lacking. All good, for $19 I can't complain!

Got one of this little speaker hooked on my pant to carry around at work. At this price, very happy with quality and convenience, also it can last 2 days with moderate volume

these are $19.95 on scoopon/catchofthday for anyone that still has unused vouchers from the recent promos.
Anyone compared this with the Xiaomi speaker that's around the same price? The Xiaomi is stereo and has therefore 2 drivers, and claimed 8hr battery life from memory. These speakers are Greta for the price but the Xiaomi has the potential at least on paper to be better

This is excellent quality sound for the price. Think twice before buying them for your teenagers. They can go quite loud. :-(

Guys, just a warning. the Good Guys have no intention to honour their orders and won't bother to reply your inquire either.
I had an order with them on a bargain, but then got the order cancelled for no good reason and no reply to my inquire.
Bought an x50 and x300 at officeworks today. X300 is stereo, has a mic, has marginally better bass and midrange but poorer highs compared to the x50.
I picked one up today to use as a speakerphone only to discover no phone audio support. Great sound for the price though for music or streaming the footy call etc.
It's funny how the orange and purple x50 has 6.5/10 rating where the black one has 9/10…

There's a few back to back comparisons between X50 and JBL-GO.
All the reviewers say the JBL is noticeably worse.Objectively, I thought the JBL had better highs (so was clearer in a quiet listening area), but missed a LOT of mids and lows.
Since I intend to use this outdoors or in big rooms, mids and lows are what I can't lose, since the environment already does that.
Yeah man, happy with the quality for what its worth. I'm pretty sure the differences are only minor anyway considering the measurements of the speaker. You can only expect so much. :)

Bought one of these and seem to have a duffer !
Blocky / choppy audio from laptop, phone (Sony Xperia) won't even see it.
Both tried close to speaker, other btooth and wifi turned off
I noticed there was no manual in the box. Not much use, but could be I have a second/return (looked online for one to see what the led colours meant)
Was fully chargedGoing back tomorrow unless anybody has a solution
