    30 Free Banggood Points

What are they worth? 5 cents ??

    • No.

    • +2

They're worth negative cents to me as they can't be used together with a coupon.

Those 3-10% coupons that often make the rounds always give a better discount then the few cents I would save by using my points.

According to sayter above, they might be worth less

        • @jv:
Well sayter posted both deals, so should know.

Late to the game guys, whats the table minimum Banggood stake at the moment? Also, this game seems to be leaning towards the house pretty strong.

        • @dfaktz:
          Ah latecomers…
The game has moved on to higher stakes 100pt or there's a new 30pt next door.

4th BG survey game from this OP. Sounds like a professional
Too rich for me, I'm out.

        • @Infidel: Another 50 points by confirming your email address :).

        • @BagIt:
And somehow I'm still resisting the offers😯

        • @Infidel: I bought a XiaoMi power bank and got it down to around $20.

          @BagIt:
I'm going overseas in few weeks - can't risk late deliveries. Had problems with BG in past.

        • @Infidel: Ok thanks, will keep that in my mind.

        • @BagIt:
A few people mentioned delays in Powerbank deal, others received in 2 weeks - which is very good.
          Discussion link below

        • @Infidel: Dangit could have saved 80 us cents by completing profile and completing the fourth survey :(

        • @Infidel: Just realised there was 4 diffent surveys only did 3 didn't read descrip :(. I finished the other survey but it doesn't give points..seems to be ozbargained..oh if you already completed all 4 surveys, verify email and by completing your profile..you should have 360 points. Thats pretty much anything below or on $3.60 Usd is free!!!

        • @BagIt:
I hope you clicked through CashRewards to BG for the cash back😀
          Cashback on Category 2 goods: 4.80 %
          (Under deal photo - "Cashback")

Very common not to get every cent possible in deals. Just don't be hard on yourself over the missed us30c. We all miss out at some time😯

🎉I notice you are a new member, so welcome🎉

        • @Infidel: I used topcashback instead as it provides 6% cashback. Thanks :)

        • @BagIt:
You have learnt well, oh wise one😯

That post implies 100 points = $1 (I'm assuming US)

    Not worth even bothering with

    • +2

So my guess was only about 25 cents off…

      • Why not? If you have completed all 4 surveys, verified email, completed profile you should have 360 worth of points which equals to 3.60 us dollars. Thats pretty much anything below or on 3.60 is free. Never waste opportunities like this :) I don't mind spending 5 minutes of my time to get 3 bucks.

On a side note, I have a phone order with Banggood with EMS shipping and ordered on Monday and still hasn't shipped. Can't say I'm super impressed.

… Banggood points ain't worth squat if I'm not getting what I ordered.

    • Personally if the item is not shipped within 2 business day i will just cancel my order and go somewhere else, unless its super cheap and it was preorder.

      • Do they refund immediately? Gearbest has it cheaper.

        • Banggood generally more likely to fulfil your order than Gearbest. I've not had issues with them not sending stuff. Maybe get them on webchat

        • @hen dawg:
          Problems reported with both.
          BANGGOOD
          GEARBEST

I gave up on Banggood after failed orders, delayed delivery, excuses, failed to refund.
Never had any problems in many orders with Gearbest.

Can I fill out a survey on my mobile to say that it's stupid that it's not compatible with mobile

  • +1

My most recent and most likely final order from Banggood was a faulty GoPro knockoff, the EKEN H8 Plus. According to the reviews, about 80% of people who purchased it are complaining about freezing during filming. I'm 6 emails deep with their customer service, trying to return mine for a refund. The best I've got so far is that they want me to take it to a local electronics repairer and they'll pay a reasonable $15 for the repair job.
Needless to say, I gave them a scathing "Room for improvement" on my survey!

Let me introduce you to the credit card chargeback my friend.

      • Good point. Hadn't considered that. I paid with paypal, but I think the same principal applies. Time to do some googling!

        • +1

Do a PayPal claim first, then if that fails do a chargeback.

Leave the chargeback as a last resort.

        • @Scab: I haven't received my power bank, Paypal closed the case saying it was delivered, the seller wants me to claim it from Auspost and check with my neighbours. They won't provide a photo of the signature on receipt. So far no luck .. any ideas ?

        • @rebel77:

If PayPal have closed the case, the only other option is a chargeback (if your PayPal account is funded by a card?).

With PayPal, the seller only has to prove delivery (ie they sent something to your PayPal address).

Do a chargeback and you will get your money back.

Otherwise, your last option is the Financial Ombudsman against PayPal (PayPal usually pay out rather than fight it).

        • @Scab: tried a chargeback through ANZ, they don't do a chargeback for non delivery apparently ! Only if its an unauthorized transaction.

        • @rebel77:

That's not correct, chargeback terms are provided by Visa/Mastercard and not the bank and they don't differ from bank to bank.

8 Merchandise Not Received by Purchaser

Occurred because the cardholder states that she/he has not received the merchandise purchased.

You can avoid future chargebacks of this type by ensuring that the merchandise has been shipped to the cardholder prior to billing occurring.

Ensure goods are delivered to the person at the delivery address and obtain formal identification (eg licence).

        • @Scab: that's what they told me over the phone after "checking with a manager" .. I'll try again
