  I tried enter the promo code and next thing I know I get an email confirmation saying order processed and payment made by credit card WTF???

    Yes, Groupon has changed to auto storing your credit card from your previous purchase.

    There is no on-line credit card removal option.

    Users can only remove their credit card by getting in touch with Customer Service. From the FAQ:

    I need to add, remove, or update a credit card
    To modify your credit card details, make a new purchase and update the payment information at checkout. If you'd prefer to enter your credit card details every time you make a purchase, please get in touch with Customer Service by clicking on the 'I still need help' button and we'll help you out.
