180

Need to escape the Australian winter in May/June?

Here's a great deal to Spain that includes a stopover in Beijing as well. Decent stopover too, so you are able to explore for a while.
Weather in Beijing at this time is warm
Credit to eddterrange: China has 72 hour transit visa - it's free for Australians.

Spain flights are priced low and land in Spain's capital, Madrid
Spain does not require Australians citizens travelling to Spain as tourists to obtain a visa prior to arrival.
Weather is great in May/June and lot's to see and do.

Flight dates vary but include dates in May and June.
Departing Melbourne $846
Departing Sydney $871

Remember to take advantage of Flight Centre's $1 price beat guarantee if you'd rather book via a bricks and mortar store.

Hope this helps the community :)

  • can anyone make a suggestion or comment on how Air China are - Full service, comfy chairs, enough leg room, entertainment etc considering it is a long flight

Spanish here: great weather in May/June and it's not high season, so prices should be good.

Recommendations: Visit Valencia, home of the paella. Beautiful city, it has some good beaches, architecture and history. Travel 20min south to La Albufera, where for $20 you can get fresh fish, real paella (no chorizo I'm affraid xdd) and a lovely boat trip thru the lake and canals.
