Great beer if you don't have to drive home.

  • $48.90 in SA..pretty good price. Cheers.

Thanks OP - first time for ages I've seen it under $50. IMO it's Australia's best beer brewed in commercial quantities.

A mate once told me he hated this beer. I haven't seen him again… I don't need that kind of negativity in my life.

    • I haven't seen him again

He probably drank VB and died.

    • I'm into good beer but I just can't get into this. No matter how many times I tried.

My other mates on the other hands…

  • Love it. One of my favourites here in Ozland.

  • Fantastic beer but the hangovers are rough.

      Not if you keep drinking.

  • Love this beer!! No Dans close to me tho :(

    • Get BWS or First Choice to price match?

  • Thanks OP, you've guaranteed this weekend will be one to remember (or not).

Coopers done gone crazy… No more for me!

    • Why did they do this to their brand for…

  • Would love to see them offer a 6 pack on their monthly specials for $12 as well, as I can't commit to the slabs anymore. Getting too fat!

    • They are bottle conditioned and can store well, so you can get a slab and not worry about taste degradation for a year.

Thanks good info. Can't see mine lasting a year though without being drunk pretty fast.

      • yes i generally drink mine after 6-12mths and aged Sparkling was the inspiration for their Vintage Ale :)

        • Do you notice a flavour change after 6-12 months? I assume it would get less hoppy and more malty? Not sure what ratio of hops to malt there is in the first place though.

  • Haven't tried this before. Just bought a slab. Hope I like it …

  • Sorry is this cheap? What is the standard price?

    • $56 about a week ago :)

  • best before dates?

  • Paid $50 for 12 750s on Grays a few years back.

Still got a bottle left. Drinking well. 2013 must have been a good vintage in Adelaide for beer 😊

Best Australian beer for sure, worth every penny.

Visited the factory in adelaide recently too, the consensus down there is also that this is the best beer they brew.

Definitely recommend the tour, it's like the wonka factory but with beer

    • The Coopers brewers regard it as their best?

      • Well the guide who works there seemed to think so, in terms of an all-round good brew for all occasions. Very drinkable beer.

"Bible Society Australia has teamed up with Coopers Premium Light to ask Australians to try “Keeping it Light” - a creative campaign to reach even more Australians with God's word - and this time we're doing so in a rather unexpected way. As part of this partnership Bible Society Australia has accepted a Bicentenary tribute from Coopers Brewery who have produced 10-thousand cases of limited edition Premium Light beer that feature a happy birthday message to Bible Society from Coopers and Bible verses on the carton packaging."

What, why is religion coming into beer?! https://www.biblesociety.org.au/keep-it-light/
