    • it's in store, you can get it straight away from the shop rather than wait for it to get posted.

The Seagate website is in US$ not A$.

  • This is a great price for a 2TB drive, BUT… I just don't trust these Seagate Expansion drives.

Google "Seagate Clicking/Clicking Noise/Click of Death" and you'll see what I mean.

    • Wow, I can't believe they haven't rectified this yet! Just checked, seems legit…

I know I whine about this incessantly, but I had two 1tb int drives RMA'd last year for CoD, and despite numberous emails & phone calls with staff promising the free data recovery service, they screwed the pooch on that score; so for that & the fact they continued to sell the drives with the issue, I'm filthy with Seagate to this day! It'll be a fairly chilly day in Hades before I buy Seagate again! ;)

In all fairness, the refurb drives have performed reasonably well since, aside from a ridiculously long spin-up time; but to hear that the same issue is plaguing their current drives is unforgiveable! :o
