How ez is this to put on a hatch back ?

    • Easy enough tbh.
Depending on the model of the car though, it may require just a clamp on mount, or one of the more involved bolts through factory mount holes in the roof.
The second is really only a bit more of a pain in the ass cause you gotta silicone it to seal.

If you use the link he gave to find out which kit you need, there is a pdf link once you have selected the car model and year that will show you the instructions for the mount.

      Updated post with link

  • Bought one for my rav4… thanks! Didn't have my fitting kit in stock so will grab one in store hopefully.

  • I paid $75 for my Subaru Forester roof racks including fitting kit (not name brand though). Bought locally in Melbourne.

This might be a great bargain for prorack brand, but for those seeking the best price, unbranded imports are usually much cheaper.

    • Can you tell me where? I require one and not sure if I can bring myself to pay 240$.

  • Awesome - got a new roof rack for my prado

  • Thanks. Some good deals on racks. I went for the rola multi fit. $243 in total. They look bulkier but no tools needed to fit and remove which is important for me as I'm just going to put them on when using.

  • Might bite the bullet and get a set to put the bikes on the roof for my Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, any suggestions?
