    New York Return

Will Muslims be allowed in though?

    • +4

      Maybe, but no childens authors

      • +2

Muhammad Ali's son has been detained twice and he was born in America…

      • -3

having been detained in a third world country,

        its all mindset,

its fun and part of travel,

        just enjoy the cultural experience,

    • the question by September may be "will Australian's be allowed"

      • +2

        Actually, will "Australians" be allowed.

        /Pedant.

        • Actually, will "Australians" be allowed.

Pretty sure Filthy-Frankfurt is talking about the possessive noun, Australian's

        • @jv:

          correct my friend :)

        • @Filthy-Frankfurt:

In that case, shouldn't it be "Australia's"? "Australian" is an adjective*, not a noun, possessive or otherwise.

*Unless in the sense "He's an Australian".

Manila to NY flights are more than 19 hours in the air… gulp

  • insane cheap!

  • +3

Cheap but 50-60h both ways…jeez not worth it considering time lost

    • +1

exactly, would be worth paying the extra $ to ensure a quick transit & maximum use of annual leave.

      • And not spending said duration on a clapped out old PA 747.

        • +1

in Y cabin.. surrounded by OFW's and filipino hosts/hostesses.

No $ value makes this ok

  • If it wasn't winter, I'd be all over it.

In case people haven't worked it out yet with all these Phil Airline deals, they're having an anniversary sale (https://www.philippineairlines.com/en/%20promos/anniversary_…) - and not just to LA, NY and other US destinations.

You can get from Sydney to Vancouver return for the same prices as above. I don't think they've extended the London deal to Sydney though. And I haven't tried testing the Middle East.

  • +2

Crazy cheap, pity they don't fly to perth

  • +2

PR126/PR127 have a stopover in Vancouver

    • Ah that would explain the 19 hour flight, longer than the Dallas-Sydney route by Qantas which I thought was pretty much maximum

  • Awesome prices! Would be even better if we could break the journey at Vancouver and/or Manila.
