  • LG 25UM58-P — same resolution (2560x1080), 25" (thus ~110DPI) for $207.20 delivered. These ultrawide are getting cheap but I am looking for 3560x1440 which DickSmith/Kogan does not have.

    • Same. Waiting for a sale on the LG 3560x1440

Just a word in regards to difference, UM58 does not have freesync for those people who are after it. And it's been mentioned before but the 25" ultrawide is about the same height as a 21" widescreen. Great price though

I'm waiting for the 34" 1080p LG which was on special at MSY a while back. That was a great deal.

Judging by the responses by those who didn't get one last time and from the rep as well methinks they won't be having another sale like that.

    • I've got the LG 34UM88C-P, very happy with it so far. I've been looking for a 27" 2560x1440 to go with it, but it seems LG don't make one, was really hoping for matching screens :(

  • 5ms response

  • Any good for photography colour accuracy?

    • It's a 6bit+FRC IPS panel.

I haven't heard anything bad about the color accuracy. I'd imagine it would be acceptable after calibrating with a Spyder/i1Display

  • I'm in the market for a monitor, but the 32 inch Samsung 1080p for about $320 seems better value? The only stupid thing is the white bezel on that one

    • 32" @ 1080p is generally frowned upon around here, but hey if it looks good to you then there's no problem.

  • Tempting… But honestly I really just want a cheap 27" 1440p Freesync monitor… Why is it so hard to find?

Same, was looking at the Kogan 28" 4K, but I think 4K is too much for my current card :/

1440p seems to be the sweet spot
