I just got a targeted offer from flybuys offering 10x points on every shop at Coles.

      With this, it makes flybuys give you a 5% extra spend (2000pts/$2000 = $10 gift card) if used on gift cards, which is nice, but not life changing.

      Without this, a 0.5% extra spend is almost a scam, for the amount of data they mine from you.

        I'm not familiar with flybuys and the points you earn, but if $2000 results in $10 gift card, that is only a 0.5% extra spend, not 5%.

          yep that's sortof what he was saying just in another way.
          normal points without this deal is 1 point per dollar. so normally 0.5%
          this deal is 10x points per dollar which equates to 5%

          better to link to your velocity card, then you get status credit and wait for an offer and you transfer your points to velocity 2000=870 but often 15% extra. Well this is if you like flying.

          @Gooddeal21: If fb:velocity can go 2000:870, or 2000:1000 (with +15%) bonus, and if velocity worth 1c/point ($10), then how does it work out better?

          @Gooddeal21: I wouldnt say its "often" 15% extra. They offered offered 15% extra just twice since they partnered up. The furst time was a launch special, and the second time was a 7 day window only to get the bonus 15%

          Nope. Largest/Biggest. I don't shop at Coles very often and only recently got Flybuys.
