It doesnt like most WD hard Drives very interesting or not supported anyway
USB flash drives and external HDD not included. Only compatible with powered HDD up to 1TB and plug and play USB flash drives up to 32GB. The Kogan PVR supports standard USB mass storage devices. Most Western Digital HDDs are not supported.
The fact that it doesn't support most WD hard drives and that it doesn't enable recording by show name(http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies-archive.cfm/138…) is a dealbreaker for me, its a great price though for the features it has. Getting too optimistic.
The remote looks and has exactly the same layout as the Highlander HD-2826 that was on special the other day. Although the buttons are labled differently on the Kogan compared to the Highlander. I guess these boxes all come from the same chinese factory.
