RRP of the 75" is $5k?

I don't know what it was sold as in shops tho so I'm guessing the new ones would be around $4k for 75"

  • I use to have the Samsung Ju7000 65" and it had a lot of input lag. i couldn't play BF3 on the PS3.

Anyone here game on this? especially FPS type. How does this compare?

    Cheers.

  • Bought this yday and watched tv for 20 hrs straight. My eyes r now bleeding. Thanks oz bargain. Plz find me a eye surgeon deal

    • Any issues ?

Bought this, great TV! But I have a patch of maybe 4 hot pixels (looks like a white grain of sand from 3.5m on the screen against all colors). There are a couple of other pixels that are dead/ stuck but impossible to notice from 3.5m!

  • No issues so far tbh and i'm reallllllllllly picky with tvs (I returned my samsung ks8000 twice!)

I had to change some settings to get the right picture but other than that working fine. I still haven't worked out how to use 3D though… if anyone knows how to use 3d on this beast, let me know :)

I don't use my TV for gaming so I can't comment on that.

I used HDMI 3/4 to hook up to pc for movies and my chromecast and on 4k videos, it looks great. No dead pixels… which would have sucked getting this back to JBHIFI..

  • i went and looked at the picture quality in harvey norman today. i wasn't blown away by it but maybe it was just the footage quality. the samsung ultra curved series 7 looked particualrly good to my eyes though. but then again maybe it was just the demo reel they were using.

    • I went and had a look to at my HN and it looks nice, they had it next to a 75 Sony a 78 LG and it was holding its own

The Samsung 78" Curved was better I must say but in guessing it was on Vivid maxed out and was $12999!!!!!!

  • I'm a bit of spoilt guy since I'm running a 2010 Panasonic plasma. It's difficult to impress me with the new inferior tech is all

    • The LG OLED 65" looked AmAzInG!!! But yer at 6k I couldn't bring myself to that

  • Damn it. Just pulled the trigger

    • i ordered on Sunday night 11:00pm.
received a call monday morning to arrange a delivery time for wednesday

  • Hi guys.
    I just received my 75".
The manual states t includes a pair of 3D glasses.
    I don't can't seem to find it.

Anyone else get it ? Where did they put it ?

    • found it, thanks to some help from whirlpool. they only supplied 1 set and it was located in the foam area up the top.

  • Saw one at JB today. Price tag in the shop was $3995! Picture looked a bit dull compared to the Samsungs but maybe that was just the poor quality demo vid they were running

  • Still waiting for my 70 inch that I ordered last Tuesday, been a week now.

    Anyone else still waiting?
