You've been an active member since 2012 and you ask this question?
      ;)

  • Bought it for 9c.
CashRewards tracked it based on the full $2.16 price, and the expected cashback is 9c.

    Free USB LED bulbs!

    • Or read TA's post above and no.

        Above where? The unpublished comment?

        • +1

          And so it is now..
TA could you please explain this again.

        • Argh, everyone asking for publishing/unpublishing.

Here's the deal. Cashrewards will not be paying cashback for this deal. See here.

TA's comment was buried in a comment thread requested to be deleted by the OP of the comment thread. TA's comment now republished, this comment thread will remain published. Clear as mud.

Was just scrollin' up, but had to post a few replies on the way LOL

  • Should I opt in for shipping insurance?

    • Its only worth 9c. Cost you more than that for the time to claim if it doesnt arrive, plus insurance is $2+

      Thank you!

    • Hey ta, I'm curious about the updated stats. Were the 2nd 500 all shipping to au/nz? I'm sure there's a couple outliers!

  • Ta, TA

  • This coupon has reached its usage number limit :(

  • Bugger, missed out :(

Good deal though TA, thanks for the post

  • d'oh missed out to probably Mr. Broden.
Voting up anyway, it's obviously a good deal!

    • D'oh. Read the thread. TA said that each order was limited to 1. Broden types would have to work real hard ⛏ to get to the obligatory 30 orders to qualify.😀

      • I saw that ;) . I stand by my comment it isn't that hard to cheat the system in whatever ways lol

Just got an email that it's been shipped out

    • Ditto.

  • Expired: This coupon has reached its usage number limit

  • I wish I'd gotten in earlier but I genuinely was confused for a few minutes (had to re-read the post a couple of times) as I thought the deal was for buying in units of 500.. and then it went up to buying 1000.

That actually seemed to make sense with the unit cost being that low.. and I was thinking.. wow, all these people buying 500 or a 1000 of these at a pop.. what the heck are they DOING with them all..

  • How long do these things usually take to arrive?

    • +2

Damnit, you spoiled the surprise for all of us who ordered it. We are all meant to be pleasantly surprised in 1-2 months from the time we ordered it and forgot all about it!

      • I forgot too.

  • +1

Just received mine today. Gee they're bright!

    • +1

Received mine as well. I too am surprised with the brightness. Now I need some usage scenarios.

  • +2

Mine arrived today, open the package and had no idea WTF they were lol, then I remembered this post!
Not sure what to do with them yet, so they can gather some dust until I figure something out!

    • +1

open the package and had no idea WTF they were lol,

      same…

      • +1

        Lol!
I figured out what they can be though!
A chocking hazard for my 16 month old!

  • +1

Arrived in today's mail (SE Qld)

  • +1

Mine arrived in my mailbox a week ago (Eastern NSW) and well bubbly packed.

  • Heh finally got mine today. They're bright, but none of my power banks will let it stay on for more than 2 minutes…

I imagine this is because it uses such little power, the circuitry doesn't register it as charging, so it turns off. Oh well, it was only 9cents!

    • +1

same, apparently some newer powerbanks support micro current charging for small devices. Have you noticed that when inserted to a power bank, there is the "Tiniest" glow in the centre of the led, really weird, but yes, they're quite bright and god knows what i'll use them for, I'll think of something, maybe as a car inspection light as i'm forever losing things in my car and attaching this to the end of a USB lead will be perfect as it's really small!

  • Got mine, pretty bright
