  • Price in title please.

    Edit: beaten.

    • Not a bad price. Can anyone with first hand experience chime in in what these are really like?

My favourite pair of earphones, they are extremely comfortable, decent sound quality, awesome battery life. :)

I would recommend waiting for the x3s to drop to about 99 usd. They don't stick out of the ear as much as the x2s. They also have the jaybird my sound app support so u can tweak the sound to suit your ear. Only downside is the proprietary charging cable.

      • I do enjoy them, but tracking the battery life on it is finnicky if you are on Android (your device has to support it) and even in iOS you get very limited information (i.e. info stays on 100% until it drops to 60% etc etc). I usually just charge every day, ignoring the tracking info altogether.

The battery life is reasonable though, if I charge every day, it lasts me the entire day (almost always) and I usually listen to music non-stop.

It's a nice earphone. The units are bit big and Jaybird used old Bluetooth standard (newer ones are better with interferences and they added few features here and there), but those two are my only peeves. The tracking stuff kinda matters little for me, because I charge every day anyways.

      • I had it

Pro: Sound quality is better than expected for the price range.

Cons: Could be me only, it keeps falling off my ear! It comes with two types of tips and tried both to no avail. As mentioned below, the BT connectivity and battery life can be hard to track. I'm on iPhone 6s.

Not it's sitting on my desk gathering dusk, can't use something that keeps falling off.

      Update, sorry!

  • X2 or wait for X3?

    • +2

Wait for a price drop on the x3. See my comment above.

    • These are good price!

    • that price almost seems too good to be true, but i'm interested nevertheless

  • if i need to buy a new pair, i will definitely NOT pick jaybird x2. the battery life and sound quality is ok, but the size is huge and it sticks out of ear for quite a bit and looks very silly. they are certainly NOT very conformable. "extremely comfortable"? it's just a joke unless your canal size is similar to the ones of an elephant. The carry case looks good on paper, but actually is a stupid design!
x3 seems better in terms of size, but their reviews on amazon are not that great either.

    I ordered this instead:
    http://www.geekbuying.com/item/QCY-QY19-Bluetooth-4-1-Sport-…

its pretty good for the price.

    • I just recently got a pair of the QY19 but I find the bass to be lacking. I saw a lot of positive reviews and got it :(

      • qy19 is only good for the price. personally i dont care about bass for the gym earbuds. that's why i still ordered a pair of qy19 in case i may lose my x2.

  • can we just take time and commend the publisher.

  • How good are these for running?

  • I bought the X2's when they went on sale last time for USD69.99 + delivery in August 2016. At the start of Feb this year, one side stopped working already. It's a bit of a shame since they're quite decent when used at the gym. I had the earphones firmly in place over my ears around the back of my head the whole time… so perhaps that what stretching it when I was running. Either way, contacted Jaybird and they're giving me a pair of freedoms (though the wait time is a month since I wanted it in black).

  • I had a pair since late 2015, tho feels I had them longer than that. Took a while to find a good fit and needed the fins. Didn't got with the Compli tips.

I find the wire does tug on the back of my neck if I turned my head when crossing the road. Battery life is ok, as is connection to my iPhones, iPad and Mac. I may have tried it with my Apple Watch as well.

I mostly listen to (TuneIn) radio, podcasts, and occasionally music. Sound quality is fine - until I compared it to my BeatsX, which I now prefer. It has way better sound, feels better in the ear (with fins), and doesn't tug on the back of my neck. Also really easy to switch devices if you've got plenty of Apple gear synced to iCloud.

The X2 uses micro USB and the BeatsX Lightning which is better for mostly iOS gear. The X3 I didn't really want to consider as it uses a specific charger. The Jaybirds are sweat proof however.

  • Storm White is now back to 94.99 USD, kicking myself that I didn't order a pair for 70 USD :(
