Why would anyone get this instead of the braided cheaper one posted earlier today? Genuine question… is this one better?

  I bought this one instead of the Blitzwolf, because I don't need braiding and this one is USB 3.
  I get USB 2 speeds using my normal micro USB cables with an adapter so didn't need another USB 2 cable.

  No, not without an adapter. Cheaper to order micro usb cables if that's what you're after.

just warning to all, i ordered mine from this store a while ago. never came. lodged tickets, to get my money back, they stuffed around so long that they got through a loophole in their refund system so basically your request gets closed anyway and you have no more access to the request.
