  • AU price in title?

    • Please include both the $US price & the approximated $AU conversion (if space allows) in the title.

Hit the word limit unfortunately so I can't add it. But it's ~$428.64 AU as mentioned in the post based on Mastercard's rate.

      • Is this INTERNATIONAL VERSION with ENGLISH Language?

This or gopro 5 black? Was $417 in the recent sales.

    • At these prices, I would choose GoPro 5. $428 is not competitive anymore and it is not a local product with Australian warranty too.

Based on specs the Yi 4K+ has a better chipset, bitrate, FPS and image stabilisation. Comparisons aren't quite out yet for the Yi 4K+ but the predecessor held up well against the GoPro Hero 5

As for price without the 5 accessories… you're looking at $299.99 US / ~$394.46 AU for the Yi 4K+ which is cheaper than the GoPro.

Why are you guys not beating the Aliexpress Official YI store 7th Anniversary prices, comes to around US $260 there, even cheaper if you sign up as a new user ! Almost below US $250

        • Is that with a coupon? I'm not getting $260.

Isnt that the 4k and this is the 4k+

Dude, its still like buying an expensive pair of Aerosports when you should just buy the Nikes for $10 more.

    • I'm in the same position but wanting something within the next 2 months… whether to wait for more sales, and make use of the TRS if it's a local purchase… too many factors >_<

    • are there any offers at that price?? or all expired?

  • what's the delivery ETA, Yi store was suggesting shipped within 8 weeks… I'm looking for something before mid May and was hoping to pick one of these up

    • +2

Average time is typically 3-4 weeks with free shipping, but it can take up to 30 business days.

  • I know specs wise this 4k+ is better, but the price diff between the market leader is too small to justify and risk imo.

If this is ~$300-350 maybe, but certainly not > $400.

  • Foxeer has a camera coming out in the same form factor as the gopro session 5 in april if you are looking for something cheaper.
Looks like gopro will have some decent competition at half the price! $226

IT'll be interesting to see the quality and frame rate difference. I'm not sure what sensor the GoPro Session 5 uses, but the Yi 4K and Yi 4K+ (IMX377) have a better sensor than that (IMX117).

IMHO, the older Yi 4k is the best bang for buck. not much difference between it and this new 4k+ unless you need 4k@60fps. The original Yi4k has been going for under US$199/AU$260 for a while now and should drop again now the 4k+ is out.

    • That was always another option im keeping in mind, are the latest features really neccessary? Considering im thinking of capturing alot of footage on the go.. i dont think ill be able to manage 4K content anyway and so will likely all be in 1080p - and $400 vs $260 (or even less…) id probably feel much better about buying a gimbal with the money saved….

      • Now its a game as to how long I could be waiting for the 4K to drop, has anyone already seen a price drop somewhere?

  • Pretty confusing trying to compare specs for me with these.
It only mentions EIS at 4k 30fps , is it active at 4k 60fps as well?

    • no. EIS only works up to 4k@30.

  • Hi Clear
Can we have a deal on yi 4k?

    • +1

Sure. I'll ask them and see.

      • Any luck with this?

      • And must be international version with english language.
        Thanks
