why you telling us on a thursday? :P

    • This.. this actually worked on me. Until my mate that I linked the deal to pointed out that it is not in fact Thursday, and now i'm back to reality

why you spelling 'favorite' without a u? :P

    50c Banana?

    • How much is a Chupa Chup?

      • +1

Not that I recommend them, but there are 20c red frogs at the counter, not sure if all stores, definitely in Melb CBD

        • Not that I recommend them,

Well you wouldn't have to eat it. On Friday or Saturday night you could sell it to a drunk kid for $1.

      • +1

        $0.60 for Chuppa Chups

  • +1

Buy a hot and get a cold, mix them up, lots of fun

    • Elaborate?

      • Luke warm coffee? Doesn't sound that good to me…

      • Buy a hot coffee, get an iced one free ('with any purchase')

  • +3

Will it worked when you pick up a free Krispy Kreme (new sign ups only). Basically free sugar with free sugar.

    • Yeah… those things are just a super condensed sugar hit.. :-(

      • 7-11 muffins have 50 grams of sugar per serve too, ridiculous.

        • And about 5 serves per single muffin pack? 😝

I finally got on the 7/11 bandwagon, there's a shop around the corner from my work. $2 have been a great morning tea for the past few Wednesdays. The bacon egg sandwich is probably my favourite (I've NEVER seen sandwiches more expensive than $5 out on a Wednesday!)

    • -2

you had to go early in the morning to get the good ones.
A friend of mine picked up 10 sandwiches so we could eat them Wed/Thurs. Pulled pork.. Chicken snitz etc

      • +3

You're lucky because most stores don't even get the $7 sandwiches delivered on a Wednesday when this deal is on…

      • Greedy.

        • +1

          I think you mean Broden

    • +1

Well the $7 ones arnt explicitly advertised for a Wed $2 special. Their availability has changed from the store owners disgression to now a chain wide restriction to the basic 4-5 types. Bacon, ham and the 2 chicken varieties. This is particularly noticeble in the marketing.

You can still get the $7 ones for $2 but these are the unsold stock that was made the previous day. These sandwiches have a 48h use by date and availability depends on the store.

On a side note their sushi is disgusting, homemade quality at best.

  • Any tried the egg and bacon pie ?

    • +2

I tried one of their regular meat pies and it was really dry and tasteless. I'm a fan of 7-11 but they need to change their pie supplier.

  • +1

One cup per store per day

Means you can drive around and stock up for the week

    • +7

lol stock up on machine coffee? #whenozbargainersgotoofar

      • Says it includes iced coffee…if that includes melts, free ice cream with your Myki… (just add capsule coffee/stovetop espresso at home).

  • +6

The sad thing is that 7/11 coffee is better than most cafes around me by virtue of two things
    a) it is hot
    b) it contains coffee

When I pay $4.50 I do not want lukewarm milk with coffee flavor :(

    • geez - they must really be bad

7/11 coffee is crud as it is

    • +2

I'm a fan of their cappuccino … better than all the overpriced coffee that's cold & bitter from other places.
There's a bit of snobbery with coffee… but that is their problem :-)

  • +1

I'm addicted to their $2 iced coffee. I don't jump on a bus to work everyday without one.

    • +4

So you use the car or what? Don't leave us hanging…

  • +3

This includes Coffee melt, which is a scoop of peters icecream and then your coffee on top.

Also does a 'purchase' include fuel, because combined with the App lock in, this is massive savings.

    • Should do…it usually includes Myki.

    • Yeah, it worked. I just bought a little fuel to get the coffee :)

  • I wonder if you can pay $1 or $2 and get the $2 or $3 coffee instead? Cant see why not..

    • they wont let you, ive tries

You can buy 2 coffee's and get one free.

  • +1

Doing a 7-11 $10 opal topup run today, gonna be so caffeinated i'll be percolating!

  • +1

Been trying to give up coffee but for this much that's going out the window ;)

  • opal recharge?

  • Has anyone tried to buy a $1 hot coffee and claim a free $2 ice coffee? The T&C is a bit unclear.

  • +1

Can get the coffee with fuel purchase. Not surprising, but was just cool to get fuel and walk out with a coffee for the trip.

  • Just purchased $0.60 chuppa chup and got free ice coffee :)

Note: Coffee Melts is excluded from offer and should not be in title

  • +1

Got one coffee, two melts (keeping one melt in the freezer for later - can just use home brewed espresso/eat the ice cream as is).

All done on Myki top ups. First store it was immediately no charge.

Second store went to charge for the melt, then I pointed at the sign, to remind the guy, and it was all good.

Third story seemed to charge me first $1, then $2, then I pointed to the sign, so he said 'oh, yes, it's included', at which point he tried to charge me a $1 (like it's an upgrade as such). Pointed to the t's and c's in front of him, and walked away with it. Good deal, now that the 'coffee' product is in fact storable as such.
