Just a note that TweakNews was great 2 years ago, not as great now. They were bought out by Highwinds at the start of 2015 and migrated accounts over. HighWinds are known to impose aggressive DMCA/Takedown policy which may or may not be an issue for some people.

not sure how a vpn works, but does that mean anything you do on your computer is using a vpn or only what you get from tweaknews?
or are all VPN's setup in a way so that once you turn it on it covers all of your internet traffic?
