Similar to the Bing Lee deal but no free filter included and may still have a free filter. Online or in-store (except Sydney International Airpot), shipping extra or C+C.

According to Terrence's comment below the free filter can be claimed if purchased today, 2 April. The original email I got didn't mention this, so ask and you may be surprised!

    Tomorrow? Gone!

    • Hmm…the email I got from JB didn't mention that. I'll update the post accordingly.

  • what do Ozbargainers think: are these fan worth the money?
PS: I am not trying to neg the deal, but just want opinions of other before buying one of them as it is one of my list, but my brain can justify the amount to be spend on them.

    • Absolutely not. Bought one awhile back and was incredibly disappointed. Maybe worth under $100 but the asking price is stupid.

      • What didn't you like about it? Too noisy? Not powerful enough?

        • +1

BOTH actually. Both were exactly my complaints when I got it (and returned it). They're just not comprehensively better than a pedestal it terms of value.

    • The fan part is poor. It will be beaten in performance by $10-15 pedestal fan. Never mind that it costs 50X more than the pedestal.

The heating works well but it costs a lot to run.

I do not recommend these things. You would only buy it for the novelty, and the price they charge is just not worth it.

  • Link says $749?

It's also $499 at The Good Guys, so you can get it for $474.05 on their eBay store with code CAU5
