Is it just me or is there anyone else that just Hangs for the clearance price list updates, I just love MSY Technology… next please.

    • Agree. A bit tired of these weekly Sunday MSY deals posted on OB every week. Sometimes there are good deals, often the deals are just rinse-and-repeat.

I just happen to subscribe to the MSY emails. Since probably not everyone here does, I figure it's only fair I share the good news. I don't post every single one I get.

If you don't want to see 'em then don't look at 'em. Simple.

Also, don't forget if you click on the 'Hide' link above you can block all deals from MSY and never be bothered by them again. Would that make you happier?

        • Judging by the neg (which I plussed) apparently it wouldn't make them happier and they expect you to not post it because of their slight boredom and inability to not click links. The horror!

        • I suggest you get out of the other side of the bed tomorrow

Haha, chill out dude. It's not like you are the one who post MSY deals every week anyway. I am also subscribed to MSY emails and receive their weekly deals on email too. It just seems a number of their items are on "special" quite regularly, which tends to get a bit boring. I am hoping they have different items for sale each week. Give us micro SD card deals, we OB here can never seem to have enough of them :D

        • where is this hide button?

        • +1

          @millusions:
Look to the bottom of the deal description, underneath all the social media buttons. You'll see 4 links to Report, Bookmark, Reminder, and Hide. Click on the Hide link to get options for blocking deals. It's a useful way to filter out cruft you don't want to see.

        • @Chazzozz:

          thank you :)

  • Edimax HP-5102Wn 500Mbps Powerline Adapter any thoughts, experience ?

Note this is a single unit, does not come in pair.

      • thank you for the info, weird that they're selling a single unit :/

    • depends if you have a spare power socket to sacrifice. If not, get those with a "pass through" function.

    • +3

500Mbps throughput is literally impossible on a 10/100 port. Save your money and get a proper ethernet port run in your house.

      • Agreed this would be better, but if you're renting or if you have solid walls (e.g. concrete) then it's not feasible. That's where a powerline adapter can be really useful.

        • Maybe if you don't need that much throughput, but if you do you should either run the cable or just use WiFi.

        • @potplanty: From what I've seen they're better for ping than WiFi

        • @enceladus94: Oh absolutely. I use one myself and get ~30ms compared to ~50-60 with WiFi.

  • 😩 I am waiting for a GTX 1050 TI good price to come out

I think they would sell out on sale before they even made it to clearance sale.

What's the video card? Can't find anything on it…
    Edit: OH.. R7 240

Oops…mea culpa, I fat-fingered that one. Thanks for pointing it out.

  • Any opinions on the Gamdias keyboard?

Still waiting on a good Micro SD Card sale!

  • I want a powerline with range extender but this one has no passthrough.

How good are these when put on a power strip?

    • Not so good from my experience. Better to use a double adaptor in the wall socket, plug this into the double adaptor & then plug your power board into the double adaptor too.

      • Isn't that the same as going through a power strip?

  • Will the USB to Ethernet work with

    MBAir 2010 (all USB 3.0)

    &

    GALAXY S4 through OTG cable?

    • Should work fine with the Macbook, I bought a non-Apple adapter to use with one before. I've no idea about the S4, though.
