    Is it bass heavy?
It seems like most headphones now focus way too much on heavy bass, and that's meant to be a sign of quality, but it ruins the songs for me.

    • A think Bluetooth headphones generally lose a bit of midrange, so while these do lean towards the bass end I wouldn't call them bass heavy.

Use CAU5 on their ebay store for another $10 off.

    • When I saw this yesterday but didn't post I thought the same thing but upon checking their eBay store they only had the SE version at $249.

  • Own a pair - picked up in the last ebay 20% off. Very comfy … liken them to poor mans QCs. Bang for buck if you dont want to splurge $350+ I recommend these.

I'm waiting for these to go back on sale for $160, good price compared to the silly retail price though.

Hey mate could you post it when that happens haha i'm also waiting for it to go back on sale to 160-170 ^_^

  • Bought one! Thanks!

  • There is also a Special Edition that is a different colour, adds NFC and carry case vs a carry pouch for an extra $50, think that's worth it? https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/plantronic…

  • I bought a pair from the $160 ebay sale… They are quite good, sound is really nice & I like some of the special features…. However the noise cancelling while good for ambient noise, doesn't do a lot for voices..

    • +1

Active noise cancelling is not for voices, active works by finding repeating sounds outside then cancelling them out (like motors, fans, hums)
Passive cancelling is the best for voices… (which basically means it has thick foam and a good seal around your ears!).

  • Nice phones. And one of the few to have the aptX low latency codec, which means you can watch TV/video with no noticeable lag between voice and lips, assuming you have a Bluetooth transmitter that also has the aptX LL codec (I picked up one cheap on Amazon).

    • Would you mind linking the transmitter you use it with? Does it happen to allow simultaneous connection to two headsets?

      • It's a Brightech BrightPlay:

        www.amazon.com/Brightech-BrightPlay-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Te…

Was only US$16 a year ago but US$24 now. Never tried pairing it with two devices but no go according to Amazon reviews. Lots of bt transmitters on Amazon though and looks like a few will support two devices with aptX LL.

        • Great, thanks for the reply. I'll check them out

  • I also bought one in the recent eBay sale. The sound quality is quite good, though not as good as my Monster ANC headphones. It's slightly bass heavy, but not overly so. I must say that they aren't that great in the looks department, although this isn't a priority for me.

should combine it with the 5% sitewide offer:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/298430

    and also CR 1.30%

  • Just bought a pair. eBay link claims them to be out of stock, so i couldn't get for $179 😐. But we able to get from online store
